Whats For Dinner/Supper ?

Yes @dobielvr, I just made enough for several meals and they were very good..I seasoned the meat with chili mix(no salt) and low salt taco seasoning and a blend of smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and sage, the blend is what I use for substitute salt....also chopped onion and bell peppers...anyway they were good.

I am making spaghetti and mini meatballs for todays supper, and small red leaf salads. Leftover marinara sauce and meatballs will be frozen for a quick meal(s) another day.:)

Making garlic sticks today, is yet to be determined.

We had fish fingers, fries and a poached egg. The poached egg was added because we couldn't decide whether to have fishfingers or poached eggs and anyway, poached eggs are good for dipping the fries in ;)

I am thinking of making salmon tikka tomorrow. I have all the ingredients except Greek yogurt but, I could get that tomorrow when I pick up the silicon airfryer dishes (or are they called baskets? or trays? 🤷‍♀️) I ordered which should be there tomorrow.

Not sure yet but, there's a lot of things in the fridge - pickles, cheese, egg, avocado, fresh figs, salad, little pork pies from the Deli and bread fresh from the breadmaker this morning so, I am thinking of a mixture of things and, perhaps, some fries too or, maybe just egg and chips - depends on how hungry we are I guess.

Made salad pizza last night using a whole wheat pita for the crust. I slathered it with a heavy coat of tomato sauce (that I'd previously made and frozen), and put it in the toaster oven. While it was heating I dry sauteed some sliced mushrooms. After the pita was good and hot, I added the mushrooms, then piled on red leaf lettuce, sliced cucumber, sliced tomato, julienned red bell pepper, and kalamata olives that I'd tossed with balsamic vinegar. No cheese.

I mostly ate it with a knife and fork, but no biggie on that score. Ticked all the boxes for an uncomplicated dinner: quick, easy, satisfying, delicious and healthy.
