Whats For Dinner/Supper ?

Went out for lunch and I had smoked salmon with lemon and dill dressing on freshly baked rye bread followed by a supersalad.

I liked the supersalad so much that I made a list of the ingredients so I could make it at home.

For anyone who would like to try it the list is:

Curly kale, red cabbage, beetroot, chick peas, red onion, edamame beans, avocado, feta cheese and a mix of nuts and seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, almonds and pecan nuts)

The dressing just contained olive oil, vinegar and lemon juice.

I went to Walmart today and bought 6 frozen White Castles so heated them in microwave with tomatoes from garden and mozzarella cheese and yes it all fell apart but still tasty and for dessert a pint of vanilla ice cream with Canadian maple syrup .

Just keeping it REAL .

Tonight was a catch-as-catch-can supper. Fried eggs, pancakes, sausage patties.

Tomorrow night, we're going to a hibachi restaurant. I don't care for them, they're expensive, I don't think the food's that great, but it's one of the Little One's birthday and that's what she wants. AND what the Little One wants, the Little One gets.
Hibachi is not cheap but yes it is good and some of the dip sauces are unreal .

Raw eels with rice and sauce comes to mind .

My sister made some veal steaks. She's been craving veal. I made some bulgur pilaf to go w/ the steaks. Then her apartment neighbor made us some lemon cheesecake. Everything was delicious. We had our Easter dinner today, because my sister has other plans for tmrw. I have leftovers...

Up early, as usual, no sign of the Easter bunny!

I made the first macaroni salad of the season.

I decided to have a scoop and nuke Easter dinner.

Hot sausage with peppers and onions, macaroni salad, chips, and crudités.

Mixed berries with a squirt of whipped cream for afters.
