Whats For Dinner/Supper ?

Wasn't hungry a big meal, so ate a nectarine while combining leftover brown rice and barley, stirring in my plant milk mix (almond, soy & oat combo), unsweetened applesauce, cinnamon, nutmeg and a little sugar, and nuking it couple of minutes. It unexpectedly brought me back to my mom's “risgrøt” (Norwegian stovetop rice pudding). Lovely, warm memories. (My mother's grandparents emigrated as adults from Norway & Sweden.)

Followed it a couple of hours later with a few handfuls of pistachios as a late night snack.
