What's something you bought that was a complete waste of money?

I have a closet full of stereo stuff that I rarely used, so I have stored them for the future when they will be completely useless due to advanced technology...

Ok. A Beta tape recorder
A 4 track tape cartridge
An 8 track tape cartridge, the same day they introduced tape cassettes.
Tape cassettes, when they introduced CDs
A VCR, when they introduced DVDs
A 32 inch TV, when they introduced digital
A "Nehru" jacket ( bright red)
Any record club from Terre Haute, Ind. (still have to buy 4 more records)

I still have two VCRs wired up.And my cassettes and vinyl get airings.

A pair of red patent leather six inch stilleto heels. Even at thirty I couldn't walk in them. They looked splendid though. Still have them. Lol.

I can probably get my dainty little tootsies in them and I bet I'd look really Hawt......send them to me, pleeeeease.

Many moons ago, I bought an EZ Crunch Ab Exerciser. I was doing sit-ups and feeling some strain in my neck. Well, this gizmo didn't help at all, seemed to hinder in the least. It took up space in my basement for awhile before I decided to throw it out with the trash.

A used riding lawn mower that I used about a half a dozen times before realizing that it was really more of a pain in the rear than it was worth, so now it sits in my garage, tires flat, battery dead and I think the carburetor needs to be cleaned before it will start even with a new battery. I keep telling myself I'm going to drag it out and try to get it running so I can hopefully sell it, but as if yet, it still sits, gathering dust.

Also, a DVD recorder that I paid over $100 for and never recorded one DVD on.

An inkjet printer several years ago before the prices got real cheap, that I never really needed and stopped using after the ink ran out.

Always fancied a lawnmower I could ride on but I'd need a bigger lawn!!

One of those adult coloring books, you know, the kind with all the intricate drawings that you use colored gel pens or pencils to color in? The pictures were beautiful, but with working during the day, cooking dinner, and time at night for reading and the internet, when do I have time to color these intricate, detailed pictures? What was I thinking??
