My favorite is the pavement. I love going for long walks. I have exercise equipment but they don’t compare to walking a path through the trees and the great outdoorsI had an older elliptical but it wore out on me. I'm thinking of getting another one but my sister is trying to talk me into getting a recumbent exercise bike. She says their better for you. I'm checking into it.
What's your favorite piece of exercise equipment?
I did that when I had my double knee replacement 16 years ago....great exercise for balance and toning.I used one of those for the first week I was out of knee surgery. It was good, gives you the motion of a bike without the stress on your legs. After a week I was able to do a recumbent bike without the hand assist. I am sure this machine made that possible, sooner anyway.
The thing pictured below is what they call a "rebounder" at my PT. They make me stand on one foot and throw a ball back and forth with it. I know what you mean though, when you look up rebounder on Google you find both.

Wow. Medusa. Welcome back. I haven’t seen you in ages.Weights and Yoga Balls
I use the treadmill more, but like the weights and balls better.
Hey, nice to see you too!Wow. Medusa. Welcome back. I haven’t seen you in ages.
I love my balance balls. Not sure if they are yoga ball. All I know is that they are huge bslls filled with air that you have do exercises on.
I should be doing some sort of upper body strength training.
USF (U so funny) thanks! What's your favorite piece of exercise equipment?
Ooooh, that's a difficult one, perhaps, it's a toss up between my teaspoon or my tv remote control.![]()
Not enough dance partners out there. I absolutely love to dance, always have loved it.I think the best piece of equipment is a good elliptical. I was going to buy a used one for a couple hundred, and by a stroke of luck, I came across a guy who had a commercial grade one in great condition that he had to get rid of immediately because it didn't sell, and he ran out of time. He was moving, and I got it for free, and it's fantastic.
Aside from that, dancing is the best exercise on planet earth, and there is plenty of evidence to back it up.
Well, fortunately nowadays you don't need a partner. I have been to many gig locations where local bands play, and people who feel like dancing just get up and dance. It's like everybody is just dancing with each other. It's pretty cool. Not enough dance partners out there. I absolutely love to dance, always have loved it.

Once you get used to shedding your inhibitions, it can be a lot of fun. You will notice when others start getting up to dance, and you just go join in. I have done it hundreds of times. After doing it a number of times, you will begin to recognize others who regularly go and enjoy dancing. Just do it.
Practice indoors with a pair of Bluetooth headphones! I even wear them when I am doing the hoovering! You have me thinking now...perhaps another NY Resolution: shed my inhibitions. Whoa Nelly! Errr: dancing
