Where Do You See Yourself in Ten Years?

I guess if my husband goes first, I will get rid of the multitude of things in this house and live somewhere for seniors that I can live out my years.
I don't want to be dependent on my children if possible.
If we are both around and healthy, I have no idea, but I imagine we'll be trying to keep this house up.
If I go first my husband, well, who cares I'll be dead.

In 10 years time, if I have that long left, I will be about to turn 90. My daughter will be going on 70. I have always joked that we might be living in the same nursing home. Not sure about her, but it will be a nursing home for me.

That reminds me, I must now put on my personal alarm in case I take a tumble today.

I hope six feet under.
Life just gets worse with age, so I have no reason to hang on and see just how bad it gets,

I turn to the wisdom of Mark Twain when looking at my future...

ā€œI do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.ā€

I fully intend to keep doing what I've been doing to get to the same place I am now.
It may take me a bit longer, a bit slower, but my friends will be right with me.
There's no need to give in or give up.
I'm still enjoying my life and lifestyle, and if there are roadblocks, I'll take the detour.;)

I don’t mean to come off across as pompous .. I just know have no way of knowing what 10 years will bring. What I do have control over is today and each day as it comes; I will do my best to make the best choices each day that will contribute to health and sanity. And I’ll get back with you all after new years 2033 šŸ˜„
