interesting side comment there: - as a teenager I became more actively involved in church life in various ways and was often invited around to a small group meeting of church goers at someones home. I was often surprised and impressed at the tidyness and polished smell of their homes as opposed to my own. Cleanliness is where the heart lies perhaps??Well after 600 posts we have come full circle to the general answer that God lives in your heart but nothing further. Is this speaking of the heart muscle, in your blood, in the nerves, in the brain, or where? One could say that it's like a smell in a kitchen, it's everywhere as an odor.
However, odors are gasses, and they have mass. Even a fart weighs 10 - 400mL (Personally I wouldn't trust the ones on the upper end of that scale, just sayin', and how in the world did anyone get that job of weighing those things, but the good news is that, yes, you do lose weight with each rump roar - you're welcome).
Sorry, where was I goin' with that. Oh yes ...... if God lives in part of your body, does he have mass. As far as we know, everything in the universe is either matter or energy, and matter can be converted to energy (If you light a fart, you have combustion - don't ask me how I know).
So, to the question, does God living in your heart / mind have mass, or is it/he energy. If he is energy, then is there more energy in the brain of a believer than non-believer. If God is neither matter nor energy, then how is it/he detected by your senses?
I was christened or baptized in a smallish cathedral church that my parents had been married in and which eventually finished up as dorms for university students!! - dabbled with churches on and off ever since until I hit the load stone - nothing less than "The Church of Christ" which is quite clearly spelt out in a conversation between the big yun himself and the disciple Peter who thought he was goin to have an eminent position in the church historic annals. Well he did in a way - got crucified upside down apparently??
