Who Can Do The Spock Salute?

OK here is real Star Trek trivia, In "Amok Time" at the end of the episode when TiPrin gives Spock the Vulcan salute, her right hand drops out of the frame so she can arrange her fingers into the salute

Put your hand flat on a table.
Separate your four finger.
Use two fingers on your other hand to move down the V you want to create.
Squeeze your fingers taut against the other two.

Now see if you can just put your hand into the salute.

In theory, if you couldn’t do the salute before, now you’ll not only be able to do the salute, you won’t be able to not do it.

I think I recall something where one of the actors that later played the role of Spock could not do the salute so they had to glue his fingers together to do the scene.

I like to think of myself as a Trekkie and hate admitting that I can only do the Vulcan salute with my right hand.
I can, however, almost manage it with my toes...

Side note: When my daughter witnessed this, her proud-and-yet-mildly-horrified comment was, "Burn the Witch!" LOL ...wait, should I be laughing?

I can easily do the left-handed salute, although the right-handed one takes some effort. We can be glad that the Vulcan salute didn’t involve wiggling the nose or ears, or rolling the tongue… 🖖

I can do both hands when in the air, but if I lay my hand flat and have my arm at a steep angle it isn't very easy...as I make the angle less steep it becomes easier. What angle is acceptable , I don't want to give them the wrong signal? :)
