Why has no one mentioned the Weinberg sex harassment news?

This is not politics. I am asking because we know this happens every where men and women perform sexual harassment. Kevin Spacey was mentioned as gay sexual harassment women sexually harass women too. Are we a society that allows women to perform the same acts men are accused of and because it is a woman we look the other way?

I think that it was, somewhere. As you pointed out, there are several sexual harrasment stories hitting the media right now; acouple months ago it was police shootings.

Perhaps folks are getting over saturated by too many of the same type of stories at the same time.

It's Weinstein, (not Weinberg).

A thread was started on 10/10 and so far there are 74 posts.

Society isn't looking the other way - the news is full of coverage about sexual harassment everyday.

I worked in a hospital. We had a staff meeting. There was a doctor, who was cheating on his wife, with a nurse. The Dr.'s wife, a nurse, who was seated next to him, was cheating with an orderly. That orderly was seated next to another nurse, whom he was engaged to marry in a month. So as far as infidelity goes, hell, yes there was sex. But I guess we were too far down the food chain for Weinstein type sex. As, we have learned, men with power feel entitled. I never knew it was so wide spread and pervasive.

At one end of the spectrum, rape is never about sex. It is always about power. This is true whether the victim is female or male.
Most of the time sexual harassment is also about power. The perpetrator enjoys the discomfort of the victim.
