I just think Some folks seem to forget all the previous "misinformation" as they call it now. I have not been able to understand those who did NOT question so many things about this situation from the Start.

I also disagree that it is all political as folks on both sides made many mistakes.
I seriously hope everyone takes a moment to think before they trust any bureaucrat or politician in the future

@win231 Why we don't always trust....who? The government, media, for-profit companies, our significant other?
As it pertains to Covid, anyone involved in supplying the "statistics" - infection/hospitalization/mortality rate.
That would include the government & other politicians. News media only reports whatever information they're provided with.
As for "Significant Others," that depends on their trustworthiness in the past, as well.

By the way, I got quite a laugh when the news media was told to report that "There are so many Covid deaths, there is no more room in hospital morgues, so they had to call in refrigerated meat trucks to store the stacks of bodies in hospital parking lots." Remember that one? One of my favorites.....when I need a good laugh.
I took elderly friends to two different hospitals during the past 2 years. Neither were crowded & there wasn't a single meat truck in sight.
My sister went to the ER for a UTI. Again, no crowds, no wait to be seen & no meat trucks.
I went to the ER a few months ago to be checked for Sepsis after a tooth infection. Again, no crowds, doctors were standing around chatting, empty hallways & rooms, & no meat trucks anywhere.

Exaggerating & lying are not the ways to get people to believe what you say.

We have all experienced things like this, at least I have,
things that were good for us, shortly after WWll are now
bad for us and things that were bad for us are now good,
they can also change status with a new Government!

Mike.

Apparently you weren't paying much attention to the news a year ago, when Covid was spiking, and very few were vaccinated.

Apparently, you believe whatever you're told & it doesn't take much to convince you. Ever bought a bridge?

Apparently, you spend the bulk of your days with your head buried in the sand. And based upon your posts, you seem to have nothing of substance to add to a thread other than Sarcasm and Snide Remarks.

If you had the skills to express yourself without insulting, I wouldn't need to respond with sarcasm & snide remarks.

I'm glad you made that distinction.
