Wow!😮 just heard a fantastic monetary statement..

Don't you wish you were one of 70,000 new millionaires?
Not at all. I have enough in my allocated pension account to see me through to my final breath and a house to live in. I keep getting pestered by real estate agents to sell it and they want to provide me with a valuation of the property. I tell them that I am not interested because it will not be sold before I am dead. Until then, the valuation is irrelevant.

In reality, I am aware that my house isn't worth much but the land is valuable. The house is valuable to me as my home of 60 years come next February, and as a place where family can find shelter and come together for celebrations.

My brother in law was briefly a millionaire some decades ago. He won A$1,000,000 on Tatts Lotto but before long it was all gone. Today I am better off than he is.

It's too bad what happened to your brother in law.
