Your Favorite Stand-Up Comics

Comedy is my favorite thing to watch,

Of course I always enjoyed Don Rickles , and Rodney Dangerfield. Robin Williams
and George Carlin

I also like
Dom Irrerra
Lewis Black
Chris Rock
Sebastian Maniscalo
John Pinette
Eddie Murphy

If you're talking about Social and Political Satirists who were also Stand-Up Comics, then MORT SAHL leads the pack!

He was the innovator of modern satirical comedy, was on the cover of TIME, and also made several record albums. He is now 90 years old.

Among his many satirical targets were the Cold War and tearing apart the Eisenhower administration. (1953-1961)

...lot of others I can't think of now.

Seen some listed here I never heard of. Haven't watched the tube in a while so can't think of any. Remember liking some jewish girl., Sara something or other. While he was a stand up in his younger years and later became tonight show host, my all time favorite comedian is Johnny Carson.

Drifter, you're probably thinking of Sarah Silverman.

My own favorites are also Mark Russell and Tom Lehrer. Whether they were technically "stand up comics" or not, they certainly were comical!

I like nearly all comedians. The last couple of years, the best one I've seen is the Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham...and his collection of "characters".....especially Walter.

I used to like Bill Cosby. {flame retardant suit on ;)}

Me too, remember when comics had record albums.
