Right now, pretty good. But I have PT at 2:00. I'll bounce into the building like a spring lamb and emerge like an old mangy lioness.
I know, I know....no pain, no gain.

Sometimes the elderly should give that a second thought. I ease into things. No pain, plenty of gain.Right now, pretty good. But I have PT at 2:00. I'll bounce into the building like a spring lamb and emerge like an old mangy lioness.

After my first hip replacement I went to PT a few times until they hurt me. I never went back. After second hip replacement I declined physical therapy. Doc said most people go a time or two and then stop.Sometimes the elderly should give that a second thought. I ease into things. No pain, plenty of gain.
Your guardian angel blinked.I had plenty of room to walk between the snow blower and my riding mower in my garage but the bottom of my pants leg got caught on the deflector that I had installed on the end of the mower chute.
I went right over on my right side and hit the garage floor like a sack of potatoes.
Small skinned up places on my knuckle and elbow on right side but got a bruise when my hip hit the concrete.
4 days since it is still tender if I sleep on the right side.
Really lucky that I didn’t break anything.
The medical community is always asking if I fall down but I don’t think this one counts.
My knees have been excruciating since my garage sale, especially the right knee. I think it was from carrying heavy boxes down the stairs into the garage. That first step down is quite a ways and I think it strains ligaments. In the photo, it doesn't look that far but it's about 12 inches (31 cm). I asked my neighbor if he could build a ramp so I wouldn't have to jar my joints on the garage steps. He hasn't committed himself yet.

Do you think a ramp of some sort would be helpful instead of stairs? My knees have been excruciating since my garage sale, especially the right knee. The treads on the cellar stairs are shorter than my shoe length! I always feel I'm falling forward going down, but at least there there's a hand rail.Treads should be at least 11 inches.
Isn't that what I mentioned in the post?Do you think a ramp of some sort would be helpful instead of stairs?
