Due to storms in the area, the local radio station went off air, for about 2-5 minutes. When they came back on, the show host said some woman called in and asked....do you know you are off the air? The person at the station said yes we know. The caller then said, well why don't you announce it then?........Like I said...Duh:rolleyes:

I woulda played with her

'yes, but we're back on now, and your brilliant question has been aired to our three million listeners'

rgp, :rofl1:

(Maybe it was a gag call? Certainly sounds like a joke.)

NEVER underestimate the stupidity of humans. I am a human, and I have over 73 years of doing unbelievably stupid things. During a storm, when the power was off, I was the one to figure out changing electric outlets, would solve the problem, all by myself.

I heard a tape of a radio show when a woman called in to complain about the location of the deer crossing sign. She wanted the deer to cross in a different place.

Maybe it was a put-on by the radio station, but it was hilarious.

I had one of my houses leveled, many years ago. If not for a call from a buddy who was passing by the property, the crew would've leveled the wrong house! They were two doors down. Yeah, always a good idea to check the address on the work order, and the houses.

Nah, that's gotta be a joke! My congratulations to the woman who made the call for keeping a straight face (straight voice?) throughout the whole call. Professional actress, probably. She should be a regular on Saturday Night Live!

I saw this on tv I think it was on America's Funniest Videos. One daughter was sking if y-e-s spells "yes" what does e-y-e-s spell? Nobody got it. Another classic is on youtube where three teenagers are asked, "If a car is traveling at 80 mph how many miles does it travel in one hour?" They were asked this question repeatedly and never snapped.

She saw the deer crossing sign and that came out of her mouth. It was one of those dumb things you say without thinking about it. Being a good devoted partner, I couldn't let that pass. It was one of my favorite stories to tell at parties. Of course, she didn't have any stories to tell about me.
