Go to a huge shopping center on a hot 105 F Sunday afternoon and then forget where you parked your car and spend a good part of the rest of the afternoon looking for it.
One would have to be crazy to go anywhere in that sort of heat, imo!
Oh, you Brits - anything over 24 C. and you start dropping ...![]()
True, and if it snows.....
Egad!!!!
The country closes
(and they never have enough grit for the roads)
Every time it snows the British are SHOCKED!!!
Collective Short Term Memory Loss?
I happen to be a Brit as well as an American.
Just remarking on a bit of funniness that I have found in the Brit character.
Been here quite awhile and they are NEVER prepared for the snow !
Trains don't run,
streets aren't ploughed ,
schools and everything else closes,
never enough grit...
I'm from NY, and they know how its done...
Over here?
....it's shock and amazement if we get over 2 centimetres of snow.
