Yes, along with allegedly using counterfeit money. So now shoplifting is a capital offense?
Are you still being sarcastic?Yes, along with allegedly using counterfeit money.
No! I changed my sarcastic comment since you seem so offended by it.Are you still being sarcastic?
Not offended at all. More confused than anything. I simply took you at your word. No! I changed my sarcastic comment since you seem so offended by it.
Sorry. That’s not usually my style. I’m sincerely shocked when I read this stuff. Maybe because here where I live , people aren’t allowed to carry guns so I’m not used to it.Not offended at all. More confused than anything. I simply took you at your word.

A shop keeper blowing away a shoplifter. How do you equate a human life with the finacial loss of a bottle of booze? That is the backdrop of a number of police shootings. The death of a human is much less than the importance of catching him.
Besides wondering if you're for real, I have a question: Are you a gun owner?I respectfully disagree. It is not about the value of the product stolen, it is about the fact that it was stolen in the first place. It is about sending the message that crime will not be tolerated.
It depends on the bullet's path, what it damages, the caliber, the velocity & the victim's general health & age.I didn't note that RadishRose. Not being familiar with firearms I naturally assumed that being shot in the back would be fatal. If he lives, that changes the equation.
^^^ Contributes to prison overcrowding.Good for her ..... Let this be a lesson to the next guy.
She never shot a gun and apparently didn't know about the "kick" which poobably raised her aim high enough to hit him in the back. It does say he is recovering. As a recovered alcoholic I might be inclined to judge a business that sells an addictive product that destroys people's lives and drives them to desperation. Unless the dead man was using deadly force against the store owner, this homicide is surely murder. A license to sell booze is not a licence to kill.
OK, I've looked at the video now. "I aimed at the floor and shot him in the back"????
Poor sweet old lady. She needs to be taken into protective custody to protect the public.
And that snippet of video showing someone hiding a bottle under his jacket - disgraceful news presentation to give the impression that it was a fit young man. The dead man's story should be told just as much as the shooter's.
