I am from Mid-Missouri. My life partner (30 years and never married) and I live on 25 acres of mostly forest land. It has a small stream running through it. I have a wide range of interests and hobbies. We have had scrumptious vegetable gardens, raised Heritage hogs, Kinder goats, and many chickens. We have two cats ( A Calico (Mamma) and Tabby (Her son Norman), and a female Dog (Great Pyrenees mix - Snowball). We live a simple life and are enjoying our retirement.

Welcome Dennis,
For twenty years I lived in Northern Alaska with the last 14 of those years in a remote off grid cabin so I personally understand you life style. I had to leave in 2016 my heart just could not handle the work needed to maintain an open trail out to the highway.
So now enjoying my time with my grandchildren. I learned too late to step back and revel in beauty of God's handiwork.
