Great phrasing! She was a great lady and has been a stabilizing influence in a chaotic world. God save the King.

I can't stand him! So blatant with his infidelity. Can't stand her either. Now she gets to be "queen consort"...Uggggh!Same here. I don't particularly follow the British Royal Family but I have always had a dislike for Prince Charles, since the death of Princess Diana.
We bruise easier with age. It would have been a bump. Or an intravenous site. Many possibilities. In that pic I see what appears to be a bruise on the back of her hand. Anyone with medical knowledge know what that may be??
Know what you mean..I am a US citizen. On my FB page I posted "God Bless King Charles" . Someone responded "We are not royal subjects, why do you care?" OMG. What a terrible thing to say to someone simply showing respect.Prince Charles is now my sovereign, King Charles the third. Many of us here are mourning the death of his mother our beloved Queen Elizabeth the second. It pains us to hear such hurtful comments made a during such a difficult time.![]()

You're not alone, many people even here in the Uk feel the same...I can't stand him! So blatant with his infidelity. Can't stand her either. Now she gets to be "queen consort"...Uggggh!![]()

I don't feel that way towards him.., altho'I do have opinions on his infidelity . and was angry with him and the situation at the time. However much water has passed under the bridge and I've accepted that it happened for a reason, and ultimately I think he's a decent man..and hopefully after 74 years of learning the trade at his mother..and father's Knee, he'll prove to us all he's more than capable of the Crown
I'm hoping they're going to release her cause of death. It seems ridulous that unlike the previous Monarchs' , history will not record the reason for the longest living British Monarchs'... death. Unless she died from some plague like illness.. and I'm sure she didn't, there doesn't seem to be any reason for us not to know.Of course, she was entitled to as much privacy as one could manage in her position. But I do have to wonder, why the secrecy about what was the cause of death? I suspect it was her own wish to have it that way. As public as her life (and her family's lives) have been, maybe she wanted at least her exit to remain private. And they apparently pulled it off.
Talking to my nurse daughter today she was of the opinion that the Queen was already dying when she received Liz Truss at Balmoral two days before the official announcement that she had passed away. She said that from the look of her, her organs had already begun to shut down. She asked how many other world leaders, so close to death, would do what Queen Elizabeth did.I'm hoping they're going to release her cause of death. I'm sure your daughter is right Warrigal... and I'm equally sure that The Queen would have undertaken the welcoming of Liz Truss, because unlike any other leader, when she swore to serve ''All of her life''.. she really meant it. We'll never see another leader like her...Talking to my nurse daughter today she was of the opinion that the Queen was already dying when she received Liz Truss at Balmoral two days before the official announcement that she had passed away.
