Walk Like a Man, 45.What was the first record , EP, LP , you bought
Great choice AlliWalk Like a Man, 45.
Flip side was an obscure artist, Johnny Cash singing Burning Ring of Fire. Quickly discovered I liked that a lot better than the main side.
Hold That Tiger! The LSU band used to play it at the beginning of our football games, the crowd went wild! Mike the tiger, the mascot, a real tiger sadly caged was paraded around and prodded to roar into a microphone. The first album ever bought for me was when I was eight:

I still have this album!
Me too, hundreds, all bought by my sister who is five years older so I have the whole rock & roll spectrum!Growing up I was very lucky. I never had to buy a record. My Dad had a friend named Romeo who filled jukeboxes. When he had to put new ones in he gave me and my sister all the records he had to replace, I still have hundreds and hundreds of 45 records.

I've just been up in the loft and taken photos of my old Red Record box and the 45's in it from 50 years ago..these are all well played originals from when I was a teen..must be 50 or more singles up there.. I never thought to look for Band of Gold .. I should have, but it's up there.. 52 years after I first bought it..
There's not much room up there and even with the light it's still pretty dark so the pictures aren't great..
