Did you have a teddy bear, what was its name, its sex?

I had a teddy bear, named "Tee-you bear"' I dragged him all over. He was not exactly hygienic . I left him outside before a storm. Well, no way in hell was I going to go to sleep without my teddy bear. My poor dad was out in the storm with a flashlight, looking for it. He brought it in. I didn't care that it was a soggy, dripping mess, it was my Tee-you bear.

Yes, I had two bears, one I'd named Cubby, and the other Tommy, I
had them until I was 8 years old, then they went to a safe keeping box.
Both were males..

I had a panda bear I called " Andy Pandy" that my uncle had sent from Japan when I was born. And there was a patchwork bear an old lady made for me; he was just "Bear". One or both of them went everywhere with me.

I had a yellow teddy named Pido. So named by me as a baby when all my f’s were p. Lol. I have no idea why I gave my bear a dog’s name. I still have that squish nosed, mostly bald bear. I think it was always gender neutral.

Reading this thread everyone had one, I still have one. It actually belonged to my brother and was passed down to me, it sits on top of my bookcase. My DH was dog sitting one day and the dog got a few bites in. Likewise I still have my doll though she has lain in a blanket box forever, neither of them have names.

When I was 58 years old, one day while at the Mall with her, she insisted I choose a bear from the display so she could buy it for me. Seemed like I was humoring her, but I chose this little white bear.
My mom passed away two years later, but as you can see, I still have this cute thing in my bedroom. No, I didn't name it, but I always call it, "the little bear my Mom wanted me to have."
