To my way of thinking trying to get rid of the word, "Brownie" doesn't make sense. You mix up a batch of dough, you put in the oven and the dough comes out brown, so chefs and cooks for years have called them "Brownies." Now, I think, if they came out yellow, we probably would have called them "Yellers" or if Green, then it might be "Greenies." However, they come out brown. It is really making a mountain out of an anthill.

You obviously didn't read the article. It's not about the food; it's about the young Girl Scouts who are classified as "Brownies." "Brownie is an age level in the Girl Scouts.

I can understand their reasoning. Black, Hispanic, or Indian girls in the Girl Scouts might not like being called "brownie," given its racial connotations and given all the racists in our country.

Defining it is a bit tricky, but I know it exists, I have heard it. When I was a student at LSU a young David Duke was a regular at our free speech alley. I listened a lot, kind of fascinated that anyone would believe such nonsense... Absolutely no mistaking what he was doing...

On the other hand calling a cookie or a young girl scout a Brownie should not be put into the same category, not even close. I believe doing so diminishes what hate speech means and may benefit those that actually practice it.

Just out of curiosity to see what it was like on Twitter since I haven't looked at it in about a year or so, I took a look last night. I saw a bit of the antisemitism that's talked about in the article and also a torrent of Tweets about Hunter Biden's laptop.

That's enough to last me a while. I'll check in again in another year or so.

I have been trying to keep up with what Elon has been putting out about the Hunter Biden story, but he should have put all these pieces into some type of context that would have made it easier to follow. It seems so far that Jack Dorsey did a lot of self-editing on elections that "MAY" have changed the outcome of the 2020 election. If you listen to one channel, they tell a different story than most others, so I am ignoring all of them.

I believe that Elon has a book planned that will give a complete outline as to what he has found that was hiding in Twitter before his arrival. If what he is reporting is truthful, then some of what went on may be felonious. We can only deny truth for so long, until it becomes reality and then we may end up with egg on our face, so I would rather wait until all of the gunk is produced and then put into some type of timeline, along with showing the actual tweets.

The talking heads on TV say the Twitter accounts state this and that, but I would like to see them for myself. As they say, "The proof is in the pudding." So, show the tweets.

I agree, Lara, but don’t you want to see the tweets for yourself, rather than have a talking head just tell us what was found? Seeing is believing for most people, however, some people can’t be convinced even when the truth is presented to them. I saw this happen in the military more than once.
