The Stunning Statistical Fraud Behind The Global Warming Scare

The ozone layer has been healing because of laws enacted to outlaw the chemicals causing the problem. This is a success story!

Global warming is an average measurement but it’s rise causes variation in normal weather patterns. It also impacts ocean currents and temperatures. Granted that over the eons the planet has gone through many cycles of warming and cooling but the current issue is that the disturbing patterns are man made and will effect us dramatically. However, it’s a symptom caused by the rising Co2 levels. That’s the real problem and its directly related to our burning of fossil fuels, or for that matter burning anything with carbon.

The rise in Co2 levels has been quite dramatic since the early 1900’s – Global Co2 Levels. This rise will severely impact the planet if it continues on at this rate. Besides the erratic weather and ocean conditions the rise in Co2 levels are lowering PH levels in the oceans wiping out many species, especially the coral. This is happening right now.

Unfortunately, most of society cannot comprehend the act of doing something now to have a favorable outcome down the road. How many people actually have a savings account for a rainy day. Most live from paycheck to paycheck.

So there are lots scientist that know what is going on. It’s just the politicians are in between them and the public causing this mess because no one what to upset the status quo. If we keep ignoring the data one day it will hit us in the face. As the Co2 increase the everything gets worse and eventually mammals (us) will start having a difficult time to breath. The plants will be happy. There is a tipping point like going over the edge of a waterfall. Once we go over that point we may not know it until we hit bottom and that’s what the scientist are trying to avoid.

People can spin it any they want but the data don’t lie. Since this type of problem is difficult to model scientist cannot say for certain when this or that will happen. This really reminds of the recent movie “Don’t Look Up”.

This is something that will effect your children and grand children.

Anyway, I just hope I’m not reincarnated and have to deal with this mess in the future.
two things:

You support my post where I said the debate is over the imminence of the threat. At least that's a logical debate. One that makes the most sense to contest.

I'm old enough for none of this to matter. Unless I'm concerned about the ocean creeping up close enough to my gravesite to cause problems there. I never was a swimmer.

The Earths climate has probably changed many times. The difference now is that there are over 7 billion people on the planet and thousands of crowded urban areas. In the prehistoric years, if it got too hot, or cold, the habitants could merely fold their tents, and move North or South. Now, that is not really an option.

Haven't you heard, were going to mars!

None of this will matter to anyone who doesn’t at least give a damn whether the planet will be habitable for future generations of our kind. So arguing with climate change deniers is generally a waste of time. Of course climate change has been the norm for a long time. It has never spun out of control because there are natural processes which sequester carbon from the atmosphere. But we undo that by burning coal, oil and gas. There has never been anything in this world that foiled the planet’s capacity to cool itself down until we became technologically powerful without the wisdom to use it safely.

I'll buy that and well put by you.

The real question becomes what do you gain by challenging the global warming thing. I guess if they introduced a tax as a penalty for driving a car powered by an internal combustion motor, then you have a reason to dispute it.

Most scientists are at the mercy of grant money - and therefore powerful wealthy people/groups have control over these scientists.

Anyone who has to resort to shutting down opposing opinions and research isn't interested in finding the truth, they are interested in control.

I agree we have damaged our environment - the following is the title of an article on cbc.ca from May 07, 2022:

Canada dumps billions of litres of raw sewage into natural waterways annually. How can we stop?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6443211

How many other countries still do this? Why isn't this 'crap' getting more attention?

More attention? C'mon now.......who's going to travel by private jet and partake in sumptuous dinners at a venue adjacent to an actual cesspool?

Priorities, Priorities!

I know which political party wants to think that it's a hoax. But of course it is not. I remember in the 50's seeing on TV, films of the arctic and the massive ice bergs. It looked like some other planet. Look at the ice bergs today, or what is left of them.

The people who want to believe it is a scam, and claim so, are not fooling anyone, least of all themselves. If you compare winters of today to those of the 50's and 60's, the proof is clear and shocking. Here in upstate New York (Rochester area & Mohawk Valley), we used to get continuous from October to March. When we lived in a single floor house, the snow got up to the roof (at least in 1958 & 1959). We very often got sub zero weather. With the wind chill factor, it could feel like -25° F.

Now we never get below weather here anymore. When it gets to single digits like 8°, we think that is horrible. We get so many snowless days in November and December. Quite a few in January also. Way less snow. Way less below zero weather.

I realize that global warming has a different effect on other areas of the US and the world. But it is real. Some of us care about what world the future generations have to live in, and some don't care at all. They won't be around, so who cares?
Global warming isn't the scam, the scam is the catastrophe that results from global warming, with some going as far as claiming it will wipe us all out.

It’s not necessarily the warming that will kill us, it’s the rising Co2 levels. When it gets to a certain point our bodies cannot exchange its Co2 through the lungs into the atmosphere. That’s the catastrophe when we all start suffocating! Were at 420 ppm now when it gets over a 1000 ppm you’ll start to notice it. Take a look at this chart. The last 100 years have been pretty dramatic.

There’s a point of no return and this is what all the scientist are concerned about.

Nature does pretty well, no matter the obstacles that humankind
puts in the way. Maybe if humans worked with nature instead of
against it, things just might possibly go a little more smoothly?

There may not be humans here on earth or even life as we know it.
Many years from now but nature will, in some shape or form,
continue on, climate changed, or not.

Nature will change with the climate, while sadly, we may not.

I have read the earth has between 8-20 years before climate change begins to show its real effects on the planet. What bugs me is if China continues their assault on the earth's atmosphere, how will we be able to prevent real climate change? We may be able to delay it with many of the other countries participating with controlling emissions, but otherwise, we are doomed, just at a later date. For example; I have read that China has plans to build an additional 27 more coal fired plants. That would equal at least, if not more than 1/2 of our total emissions here in the U.S. And the real issue with China is that "they don't care."

If you were actually scared of climate change….never use your microwave, park that car and walk, grow and hunt for your food. Turn off that air conditioner and that furnace, no light bulbs ..no electricity. Everyone wants to talk the talk but no one wants to do anything else. Climate change is about money change that is all.

The glaciers are not melting. I posted some on the subject today, but that's not going to change your mind. My posts are just to help out some of the puzzled on the subject.
If the glaciers are not melting then some very strange person went to the Banff National Park and drove in all those pegs "for fun." Some fun!

Ernest Hemingway wrote a book, "The Snows of Kilmanjaro" about hunting in Kenya. Apparently, those famous snows will be gone in about 30 years. If they are not melting where are they going. Glaciers done just pick up and disappear over the horizon; at least not in my life.

Climates have been changing for goodness how many ages. It's normal. But these idiot activists who cannot accurately predict the weather for next Tuesday want us to think they know how the entirety of the earth's atmosphere works?

It's simply a power grab to rule our entire existence.

(How did you get Gore mentioned here? I tried a post about that crook and it got deleted - NO POLITICS.)
Not being able to tell the difference between weather and climate is fairly typical of climate change deniers. It speaks of third-hand disinformation and willful ignorance.
