I believe I first came across what someone might agree amounted to "female logic", and it involved two of my sisters on the farm who were attempting to fill buckets of water to give to the livestock.
They had the cold tap in the cow shed only half turned on, and fairly obviously it occurred to me turning the tap fully on might speed up the process.
The logic of these two girls was contained in there statement rebutting my suggestion: "We can see the water is coming out quicker when it is only half on"!
So, there you have it, if you believe you can see something, (like water rushing out of a pipe because it is constricted), then this is all the proof you need, and there is no need for further investigation like timing how long it took to fill said bucket.
However, every lesson in life, even learning that these girls were not for shifting, is going to aid you in some way later on, and I guess it has done.
I've met women who seem to think using a microwave to cook vegetables requires as much water as if they were to be boiled in a pan on a stove, but most of all, putting all else in the shade, is the numbers of women I've met who seem to believe because they've said something it must be true!
