What are you doing today 2023

Today I have been crying since I woke up. My Hubby's oldest brother who was 93yrs old passed away this morning. He was the oldest in the family and a wonderful man. Both him and his wife were the most Wonderful couple. She passed away in 2021. The only thing that makes me stop crying is thinking and believing they are together again.

I'm so sorry to hear of this.
 
Got my taxes done today. I owe about 330 total because I owed Covered California 1,400. Could be worse and I'm grateful for insurance. It will be taken directly out of my account so I won't worry about it. Just write it in.

My real estate agent never called me back. Not sure what is up with that and I talked to her Monday. I work tomorrow so that's out. And so is today.

could not get in the site after my pc did a fart also...ah
well....cooking a hamburger helper for din din....will see
if it's edible after I get done with it....still raining.....don

And you are so right….I’m sure she met him at the gate of Heaven….and now, they are together again.

I'm sorry for your loss....I know that that will stay in your heart. 💔
 
What we were supposed to do this evening is see the play Moulin Rouge, but we had severe thunderstorms come through right at the time we were meant to leave. The tornado sirens were going off and we heard hail outside. There was no way we were going to a theater with that going on. It was really unfortunate, but I'd rather write off the tickets than drive through heavy rain and have hail dents in our car.
 
DD and DGD left for home this evening. My other DD left on Wednesday morning. I hadn’t seen her since Dec 2019 and that was only for an hour. We had planned to return in March, 2020. It was a great visit. Tomorrow I’ll put the beds, etc back together. Also will get back to a more healthy diet. They love to dine out, pick up fancy pastries, make elaborate meals.

First thing I do in the morning is check my bank account. My state refund is already there! I only filed the return on Tuesday. Yay🎉🥳

And now it's time to get my butt in gear 🐓🚙🥐 Wish I could think of a way to make them green.

Oh. Almost forgot. Retired Lady will be back at work today. Yippee. I don't have to work alone:)

Not too much going on today, my daughter works Wednesday and Friday so those are the days I spend with Rambo.
We are going out to dinner with my daughter‘s MIL, my second oldest grandson Nicholas who goes back to college on Sunday in Dallas and my oldest grandson Michael and his fiancée Brooke.
I think it’s for St Patrick’s day and also that grandson is going back to SMU after spring break.
The MIL is coming over earlier so I can help her with her IPad …ugh.
She has an iPhone that she knows how to use so I don’t understand Her problem.
The IPad is like a big iPhone.
@hollydolly ..I hate going to the dentist also even though I know a few! 😀
