I never saw Titanic either.
Truly awful - avoid it at all costsI have avoided watching this movie till today. Otherwise I'd have done the same.
I tried very hard to like the Handmaid's Tale, so you're not alone! The series isn't any better, in M not so HO!I don't like books about serial killers, romance novels and I don't like Margaret Atwood's turgid writing.
I never liked the movie "The Piano". I found it very hard to understand, I kept asking my friend "What's happening". I lost interest in the first half hour. I think the photography was good though."The Piano". It is full of clichés. The mute woman, who isn't mute, but chooses not to speak. And so on, and so on.
I'll not tell the story in detail, since it's just too ridiculous. If you'd like to read it:

In my opinion the movie is much overrated and so is the director Jane Campion.
I'm anticipating much protest. Feel free to comment!
I agree. I like humor, including stoopid humor. But most comedy movies are not even amusing. Unless you're into weddings, Christmas, etc. Sure, some good comedies have such themes, but most are poor. Most comedies these days. Not very funny in my opinion.
I liked Corner Gas.And probably most of you never heard of this series but I am watching Corner Gas for the second time around, Corny but fun.
I agree - the British are better at this.At this age I enjoy stories that have an older person involved. The British seem to be better at that than we are.
Both movies are brilliant! I loved Simon Pegg in the latter!I'm going to amend my comment about comedies and state that there are a couple I really like.
'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' is one I've watched so many times I know almost every line in the Movie
and never fail to smile or laugh at almost every scene.
Another is 'Shaun of the Dead'.
Might be a pattern here...
