What are you cooking or baking today?

Living alone I got so used to store bought pizza (Dr. Oetker) that I no longer like any of the fast food franchises' pizzas. Store bought crusts are crunchy, franchises limp! I heartily dislike limp while most folks with more discerning tastes love them that way!
What's fun about frozen pizza is that you can add your own extra stuff on em.

morning breakfast a hot green thai chilly dish - from a pkt but still enough of a kick for me - everything comes in the pkt except the oil and chicken or prawns if you wish or any other likish meat? the ingredients are all in tin foil pkts and you start with cooking a curry paste with the oil and then adding other spices and finally your meat or seafood - best done in a wok - only takes 15mins and comes out spicy enough for me. think the entire pkt costs 6-7A$ ? my dil who IS thai would scold me for doing it that way but beggars can't be choosers!

I've never liked Kangaroo.. we can get kangaroo steaks here.. but there's no fat on them, so they're very strong tasting..

Can you not get your Thai D-I-L to make a bunch of meals for you that you can freeze?... or does she not live near you ?

yea healthy like - but I've been out hunting in the bush and eating fresh meat - cut from a hanging roo [deceased] from a tree in thin slices and quickly barbecued - like eating salmon pieces - magic but living off the land probably always is the best way to go - I pick up meat and chicken in WW and where the hell they are getting that from god knows - its rubbish! - we do have a fresh butcher in town though must try him next?

crocodile I've tried and just cannot stomach - too gamey and evil!! - ostrich sounds interesting but with all of the meats we need good chef advice I think to get the best out of them and then again - good quality in the first place - the chicken they sell in WW now is appauling? and even the steaks are tough - I once heard that sheep breed on the salt fields coastal areas of uk are fantastic? - love to try that.
