Are you a church goer?

I am a member of a congregation of the Uniting Church in Australia. I am not as active as I once was some years ago when I served in various roles - elder, Sunday school teacher, church council and management committee for the child care centre.

My main concern now is for my husband who is living in an aged care home. My Sunday attendance is a bit intermittent now, but I go when I am not too tired. Sunday is now quite literally my day of rest.
 
I used to, but now nature is my church. I find it very spiritual, and if you allow yourself enough time to sit quietly, you begin to feel yourself sync up with the energy there. It is soul satisfying, but hard to describe. I don't care for labels that are often used in Pan-theology, because they pressure a person to adopt things they cannot know, and I don't even care for the word "God" because it is just a conceptual term that is relative to each person and their belief. For me, I just experience what I would call spiritual energy. I like to think of it like the electricity in your house. It's always there. You can choose to plug in or not. If you do, perhaps your light will go on.

I had both knees replaced last October, about 9 months now. I know its a long slow process.

You braver than me ABob my date was 4/6 for S day. PT has really helped plus the weight loss, I just cut back on quantity was all, most tell me a year to get over it, so many have said that I believe it. I am still very much in the recovery process. Walking slowly here & driving short distances without help of any kind but I do not feel safe shooting a handgun or carbine match yet but plan to the 3rd Sat of July, just slow and easy.

No, not since I graduated high school and went off to college.
Was raised Southern Baptist. Went every Sunday ... morning and most Sunday evenings and most Wednesday nights.
Sang in youth choir, member of RA's (Royal Ambassadors) and the church's Boy Scouts Troop 29.
Relatively young at the time, WWII veterans were leaders in the church and troop scout master.
Can't say I have any bad memories of any of it.
