I can relate to that. I always want a good cup of coffee after any procedures or stays.

I hate to misplace a card! Even though it's not the end of the world these days it's still a vulnerable feeling.
And aggravating when you can't remember where you put it!

I've just found them... typical now I've ordered new cards.. but hey it's ok..glad I've found them. They were under my diary on my desk.. I never ever leave them on my desk, but the other day I was logged into a new account and had to get the cards out to register it for online banking.. and clearly forgot to pick the cards back up .. and they ended up under my desk diary.. (y)(y)
 
Mornin, folks...

77 degrees here and very sunny...🌞🌞 feels super warm..even tho' it's not even 80 deg. I have just been to tkr my bins in.. and I always take my neighbours' bin in as well she is 88.. and has a little unsteady on her feet.. but sharp as a tack...

We've just been putting the world to rights for the last 1/2 hour...

Here gardener will be coming soon.. he charges a lot to do her garden.. every week.. and she is stressed because she needs a high hedge topped ..and can you believe he doesn't have a high reach trimmer... what sort of gardener is he ?

Anyway I've told her I'll drop mine over to her later today...

I may take a drive down to the Canal today...I'm a little sore after yesterday's mega shopping jaunt.. so we'll have to see what the day brings..
 
Another cool morning before the heat returns!! 73 degrees right not, doors and windows open for some free air conditioning!! More outside work to get done.

I've just spent the last hour and a half bagging, and freezing all the fresh meat I bought yesterday... I was a little bit concerned because once I'd bagged up the Sausages.. ( big long links).. and the meatballs, and the scones.. and put them in the freezer..I didn't think I was going to have enough room for the chicken thighs... ..but I found something in there , that is no good, and threw it out.. so I had the space after all, without crowding anything too much.

Cleaned up the kitchen.. but I can't vac at the moment

My back is killing me from yesterdays' jaunt in and out of the car over and over again.. .. I always forget it's going to do that the day after a big shopping trip where I've driven from A- to -Z. with B-C-D-E-and F stops in the middle..

It's 1pm now... I doubt I'll go out after all today.. ..just put a heatpad on my back for a little while (y)

Went shopping with daughter to pick up few items, chips, burgers, Greek style yoghurt, chicken strips and treats for kitty kat. Found out wasn't registered anymore with pet shop due to the fact that I give my name by my two initials. The system doesn't like this.

I was offered to re-register but what's the point now. The clerk was specific that all my previous accumulated were now gone and had to restart at zero. Sorry but that fussy, I've enough c....p in my life I don't need this.

We were feeling flat, no energy or regular enthusiasm. I came to realisation that letter received yesterday makes no sense. Otherwise, transfer wouldn't have occurred. So load of BS again, they don't want to let go, but I've enough evidence now to take them out and force them to prove.

This would end the fisticuffs but I have my ways... 😠😠😠

Back home had lunch, missed the rain, had lovely chat on bus. Good outlook, as I've the final answers!
 
This morning was a literal (yes, literal) sh!t show at the store. The toilets backed up. Plumber didn't get there until I was leaving at 11. It was sort of compounded by some of the genius employees who thought they'd just run upstairs and use the toilets there, the ones that are located directly above the ones downstairs. It's true that the jobs there are not rocket science, and they'll hire anybody with a pulse who can read, write, cypher.

Beautiful day! The temp hasn't even gotten to 80 yet. Lawn mowing will be done, but the grass isn't dry yet, maybe in another hour or so.

If you went south 40 miles from here where I live it would take you about 2 or 3 hours because of the huge volume of traffic ...going North it will take abut an hour...

It takes about 15 minutes to get to Columbia with I-70, unless there is an accident. We average a little over 70 mph. :) London I suspect has a lot of traffic also. You do live in the country right? No fast Highways to get to London?

welp , just got done paying a guy for his work cleaning up around a big
bad tree down by the road....always gets overgrown at the stump, so got
him to get it whacked and cleaned around...gave his little kid five bucks and
that pleased him to no end!!!!....On another note, got a 15 yo that picks
my mail up twice a week and brings it to me....except last week, and so far
this week....let his mom know, and she brought him over sat for a talk, think
he's too much into sports right now, and school getting ready to start, have not seen him this week even tho his mom dm'd me to say he'd be here this morning...so unsure what to do about it, actually....maybe just let his mom do
whatever, if it comes to it I could walk with difficulty to the mailbox and back...we will see....ketchup more later!!!!! :love:🤪
