Got moving and got laundry going, and while that ran I finally washed and put away the produce I bought Friday.
Our snow started early last night and it is finally easing off. It’s very heavy, wet stuff.Looks like snow for us starting late tomorrow night and all day Tues.
Today, all the reactions to my shots are gone, thank God!
How did you do that? So many suffer from arthritis.finger arthritis that I reversed --
Just 37 days? Yay!DST is four weeks from today. 28 days.
Spring is 37 days away.
That's why you're pack leader, @packleader!There is much talk about health on this Forum. Although I may have given the impression of being super healthy, this is not the case. Here are some of my health issues:
3 Hernia surgeries --- ruptured Achilles tendon repair --- breaking the fibula bone in my right leg --- prostate cancer surgery --- 2 skin cancer surgeries including melanoma --- cataract surgeries in both eyes --- bunion surgery --- urethral sling surgery --- colonoscopy with removal of potential cancer lesions --- 5th vertebrae crushed in a ski accident that created a life-long problem --- backbone osteoporosis --- finger arthritis that I reversed with warm gloves and Voltaren cream--- numerous pre-skin-cancers removed --- lipomas --- trigger fingers mostly reversed --- ruptured nerves in toes --- snoring --- well controlled knee arthritis.
And more: controlled pre-diabetes --- overweight --- prescription medication: Atorvastatin for cholesterol, Amlodipine for hypertension, and Jublia for nail fungus --- 3 of 4 tendons in my right shoulder are torn loose, and I am using my mini gym to strengthen my shoulder muscles to compensate --- I am wearing hearing aids--- glasses for driving --- my shoes need arch supports --- tendons and muscles in my left hip are torn, and I start limping if I am walking too fast --- and I probably forgot a bunch. I nearly drowned three times in my life, and almost died in a car accident.
But undeterred, I am keeping myself physically active. I am also a health fanatic: no junk and fast food, I am eating plenty of fruits, while my dear wife feeds me plenty of healthy veggies. There is much controversy about nutritional supplements. I am taking more two dozen because I believe my body’s chemical factory at my age is just no longer that efficient and needs support. My driving license is valid till age 93, and I intend to have it renewed till age 98. Quitting is not an option for me, German being my mother language, having lived on 3 continents, studied in 4 countries, and always having been self-supporting.
But I know: the day will come when God calls me. Our bodies are made of stardust and will again become stardust, but our spirits will live forever in heaven. I know because the spirit of my mother has helped and guided me throughout my life. My mother has given me the strength to survive all odds.

36 now. I posted that yesterday.Just 37 days? Yay!
wow that's a beauty...Novice?.. not in MY eyes...I finally finished the afghan my husband's aunt started many years ago before she died. Her part has the professional touch my part has the novice touch but I hung in there.
The reason it took so long is that the yarn was not found until my mother in law passed away years later when they were cleaning her house.
I finished watching 'This is Us' last night. I tried to watch the Superbowl but.......no.
