ONE thing you're grateful for...

StarSong

Awkward is my Superpower
Please share one and only one thing you're grateful for today. Not a laundry list of everything - just a single thing. Not necessarily the biggest thing you're thankful for, just something that crosses your mind for which you'd like to express thanks to God, the universe, life itself, your family, spouse, genes, job, neighborhood, teachers, whatever and whomever.

Focus on that single joy for a while, read what others have written, then feel free to come back tomorrow to share another of the many gifts life has bestowed on you.

I'll start:
My mother was a very good cook who made it look easy. Although she didn't formally sit down and teach her children to cook, all 5 kids helped out in the kitchen now and then, and we are all pretty good cooks. Thanks, Mom, for imparting this lifelong skill as well as the confidence that it was one I could master. It's served me well throughout my adulthood.

Today, I'm grateful for the opportunity to understand and explore the vast array of human experiences and emotions. This connection allows me to grow, learn more about the world, and hopefully make it a slightly better place by sharing experiences of kindness, honesty, and self-awareness.

I’ve sincerely grateful for my husband. We’ve been together almost 35 years. He does so much for me each and everyday. For a while I was so depressed he was feeding me everyday and cleaning up. Now I’m feeding myself and cleaning up. I’m on meds and have needed them for a while now.
