My cordwainer, Colin has been busy. Two new pairs, well actually the grey and white pair were made to order.
The other pair were a cancelled order that were offered to me at such a give-away price I couldn't say no.

If you were married, the right shoe would be worn more as you would be walking lighter on the left as a result of holding hands with another person. The great health comes from the long walks you took together.

In July 2021... I posted my brogues here on this thread..I still have them, and they still look as good now as then, no difference at all...in fact all the boots and trainers I posted on this thread look just as good as they did 3 and a half years ago... and I've added a couple of pairs of trainers in the last 6 months

My higher end flip flops suggest I care enough about comfort to spend a little more to have it, enjoy dressing casually, and have good enough balance that I don't need supportive shoes.

I have no idea what women mean by "flip flops" today. I picture some kind of Dollar Store beach footwear, all but disposable and probably stamped out of a sheet of some dense poly-foam.
The second picture that comes into my head is Peggy Bundy mincing/shuffling along in tight pants, flowered top, and a pair of fluffy mules.

Yes...they can be all different styles and price points but they are basically these..which I would wear only on the beach

So far over the years I have only posted pictures of my trainers and my boots.... I should really gather my shoes together and take pictures of those... ..I do actually wear shoes occasionally...

While I still keep two pair of dress shoes, most of the rest are either for slogging on trails or everyday wear that just says "'F it, I'm retired!"
