I actually bought a baby shampoo that promised the same thing..I bought it in 2 bottles because it was on special offer... that was 3 years ago and I still have them.. I don't know what to do with them, they were absolutely useless at stopping my hair tangling..
When I find myself with shampoo or other liquid soaps that I don't like for their intended purpose, I use them for toilet cleaning. Soap is soap...

Well dang it, now i just had a phone call from the banks "fraud
unit".....they tell me to call the same number I called yesterday,
so instead I called locally, and they informed me there was a
fraud attempt but that it had been blocked...so I am gonna call
the fraud unit on monday, don't feel like being hassled by them
right now.......:(

Our morning walk. The sun rises later, and the temperature will be only in the 80's. So, we started after 8:00 a.m.

Left: When the rain season starts, usually around Thanksgiving, the summer brown and yellow will quickly turn into a lush green.
Right: I climbed the 3,000 ft Box Springs Mountain the last time when I was 84. That's when I ruptured my right achilles tendon that needed to be repaired. On that mountain, I also broke my leg running downhill with my pups; and my daughter's Pit Bull killed a rattle snake that costs me $1,700 including two anti-venom injections at $700 each. If I hadn't saved Bella, my daughter would never have forgiven me.

Below lies the Inland Empire (Ontario, San Bernardino, Riverside, Corona, etc.) and 60 miles further in the ocean haze is Los Angeles

Left: One more river to cross (Gospel song.) Right: Aha! A horse left a souvenir for us. Aside from the horse, we saw evidence of coyotes, rabbits, squirrels, ants, stink bugs, and other assorted wildlife. Rattle snakes hibernate in winter.

My wife just left to watch the soccer game of our 5-year old grandson. I would go more often to cheer him on, but dogs are not permitted on the soccer fields. Many years ago, our daughters also played soccer at the same place.

What a fiasco last night, My remote control volume button stopped working. Usually this means the batteries are going dead.

Couldn't get the back off the remote d/t hand issues so pried it open with a pointy knife. Only stabbed my other hand once- very lightly. Changed batteries.

Now, nothing worked, could not shut TV off to re-set it. Turned it off manually. Later, turned it back on but remote still won't work. (I admit I slammed it a few times). Ok, time to order a new one from Amazon for next day delivery, which they confirmed via email.

Now I thought.... God forbid I put the new batteries in wrong! (cover is still off the back of the remote and will remain so.) Did the switch, everything works... I put the damned things in upside down!!

Tried to cancel the Amazon order, but they blocked my access to the cancel order feature! When I finally got in, they said it was too late to cancel; either return item or refuse delivery.

How could I be such and air-head!?

It actually can happen very easily..you've just described events that happen to me.. more than is embarrasing tbh....

Well it's now 20 past midnight..I'm likely going to be awake for the rest of the night because I was very poorly today... never saw that coming... 😩 crawled back into my bed around 2.45... slept until 6pm.......feeling a little better than I was, now ... but OMG... I felt really rough...

Just been downstairs most of the evening watching tv... I rarely ever do that for more than an hour at a time ...

Didn't help that the eastern European tenants next door have been having a party in the garden since 1pm...it's still going on now...

Anyway, I hope I improve..I've got a lot of stuff happening this coming week.. none more important than the meeting with my lawyer on Monday morning..

No comment, we all get tripped up here and there.

So you don't already have a spare on hand? Or a phone app for that, so you could let it go until the next full light of day to deal with it?

Mine had started to wear so that buttons might lose their painted on legends. So I bought a 3rd party spare to wear out instead. So cheap they came 2 to a pack! So I have a spare and the original in a drawer and a cheapie I use daily along with an app on both my phone and tablet.

I even have another programmable slim remote that cost a dollar. It has on/off, channel up/down, and volume up/down buttons.

I could use it with the TV but instead I've programmed it to turn on/off and dim/brighten a trio of flickering LED "candles" I put into a front window during the Winter holidays. The remote they came with is one of those dicey membrane-switch rectangles using a coin cell, this one uses 2 AAAs.

It's 12:40am, we have just got in from a fabulous night at Horndean, entertained by Si Cranstoun. The lady will get some grief from her surgeon if he found out that we had a dance. Only for a couple of minutes, but it was a jive and she took at least fifteen minutes for her heart to slow from the high rate caused by the exercise. Right now it's bath and bed, I will give you more details, and photos, tomorrow, no, it is tomorrow, later today, and I haven't been drinking, just old!

Wow, Horndean - presumably at Barton hall? Horndean is where we used to live and my children all went to school at Barton cross. It has changed a lot since we first moved there in the 70's.
Have I prompted a reminisce? It was indeed Barton Hall. It's undergoing some sort of renovation. You can see the movable scaffold in some of the photos.

It was our first dance night out since my wife's heart surgery eight weeks ago. In the past (read that as younger,) Saturday night was always spent dancing and partying, that was when her ambulance shift pattern allowed. Her brief moment on the dance floor last night, might have given her the motivation to follow medical advice, get well and then maybe, just maybe, she can dance again.

Glad you enjoyed it. When we first moved there - I worked for IBM in Havant, 6 miles south - it was a much smaller village and the A3 was the main road from London to Portsmouth. Now just about every piece of land is built on. The brewery which had been in the same family for generations, was bought by a large brewery, and converted to posh apartments. At least the village is Bypassed by the A3M.

I was just saying, " I miss the days you turned on the TV, turned the knob to one of six channels, and watched. " That was more about the amount of remotes, and channels, and garbage but your fiasco reminded me. 😊

Six channels? Sheer luxury!

We had 3 channels and to get one of them my youngest brother had to sit on the TV holding a metal rake poised at just the correct angle with his elbows out and knees touching.

TGS is just waking up now, at 7:15 AM! He didn't sleep during naptime yesterday, thus the 11 hour overnight sleep.

Yesterday's weather was splendid so we took him to walk a local street fair. Bumped into some (Millennial) friends who were doing the same. Our TGS was in a stroller as were their two little ones. Too chaotic for toddlers to walk it, but all three seemed to be enjoying the music and general merriment.

After that sleep-free naptime we ran some quick errands, then walked the neighborhood while TGS rode his trike.

We're very fortunate to have had him regularly for overnights since he was just a few months old, so he's very comfortable here. ❤️

Morning gang....very sorry i forgot to invite everyone for
Biscuits and Sausage gravy for breakfast...really sorry....;)
Didn't wake till 6 am, but still tired and achy, tinnitus roaring
in my head today....no plans as yet...I'm getting slower and lazier every day I think....ah well.....take care all.....

I bet I get nothing done today. Bet the day goes by and I won't even know where it went. Is it bedtime yet? I'll put that off, noticed it's so sunny & warm out there, must take advantage. The next few days will be in the seventies, then winter starts to come back. Fall, winter, it's the same to me. It's not summer anymore 😭

Got lucky yesterday. The Amazon driver actually called me to verify the number of my condo! I made sure it was correct and was able to refuse delivery of the new remote control!

Seems their label printer is low on ink or something cuz suddenly I had a problem with delivery. Now, again!

Absolutely fantastic weather here.... 73F the high, not a cloud in the sky! Still need rain, tho'.

Leftover frozen pizza for breakfast. Not sure about supper.

I can relate...jussayin'

I did manage to make my Self get out and water some of the flowers this morning. I was going to deadhead stuff, too, but figured it can wait another day. Or maybe just until later this afternoon. It'll get done, just not right now.

Started making hot fudge pudding cake and what to my wondering eyes did appear...in this case, not appear...I'm a half cup short of brown sugar and DD doesn't have any. DSIL took himself off to Kroger to get some. I ❤️ DSIL!

I think DD isn't feeling so hot this morning. Got a text from her about 10 saying she was going back to bed. That never happens😯. Um. Yes, we text because they're over there, and I'm over here.
