The Best Thing To Happen To Me Today...

I've just sneezed, and instead of the spoon that flew out of my hand landing somewhere hidden, it landed upright in a cup in the sink.
A million to one, what do you think? 😊

You're a walking weapon " @timoc ?

... a fine mist of mucus and saliva can burst from a person’s mouth at nearly a hundred miles an hour and travel as far as 27 feet. When the sternutation is over, a turbulent cloud of droplet-containing gas can remain suspended for several minutes, depending on the size of the droplet.

Impressive aim though :)

Worst thing. Getting up at 2:30 am & not being able to go back to sleep.
Best thing. Watched my new soap, Beyond The Gates, that I missed yesterday. Hooked on this show, and it's only been on a week. I tried to resist and failed. Good!

Taking out the trash this morning I found a frisky playful Beagle in my backyard that matched the ‘Lost Dog’ posters around town. I called the number and a woman and her little daughter came to pick it up. I declined the reward. Seeing the dog run and jump into the little girl’s arms and lick her face was payment enough.

Slept 2 hours later than normal this morning. The extra sleep felt good.Started listening to an audio book I was able to get for free while I was cleaning house and it’s very good. I listened for hours. It’s called Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver.
Barbara Kingsolver is so good. I love, The Poisonwood Bible. Putting Demon Copperhead on my Audible list.

It's still morning, so there hasn't been a lot of time to anything wonderful to happen. But I really enjoyed my cup of Seattle's Best Keurig coffee, Post Alley blend, and thought how delicious it was.

Yesterday was a good day. I got my tax preparation work finished, which is my least favorite task. Definitely among the top (or bottom) five, anyway.

Good coffee. We buy the ground version which is hella strong!

the best thing to happen to me today was this serene calm quiet nature... at the garden centre....

Trish, that'S NOT a good read with my breakfast. 😊

When I looked out my kitchen window this morning I saw the newborn squirrel venturing from the hole in my tool shed out into the world. I tossed a couple of peanuts his way, and he went to town munching on one. His tail is bigger than his body. I think it’s going to be a good day.

Unless I slept through it, I didn't have to get up at 2 AM to tinkle. Yep, this is gonna be a GREAT day!
Lol I USED to be the Super Hero of Sleeping but not in last 2 years , don't get me wrong I still sleep , tonight plan to sleep from midnight till 10 am but unlike before get up once or twice now , no longer sleep straight 10 hours and miss that ALOT .
