I need to rage a bit

Rather a sweeping generalization there.

I don't see younger generations hating men nor wanting others to do so.

No doubt there a few extremists, as there are in any generation - but I certainly dont think that is a 'many of them' thing.
With all due respect, I stand by what I said. It is like a cult mindset here in the states.

Women's lib, "wokeism", careers-not-kids, why get married?, and the like has grown into something that is..... ugly. It ain't enough for these young women to stay single; they want marriage to fall by the wayside. It's ain't enough for women to have equal rights; they want women to rule. The younger generations seem to want everyone to hate men like many of them do. (I rather like my man, his masculinity and head of the household role :D )
Is this kind of extension of YOUR happiness with YOUR man? :)

Women want "marriage to fall by the wayside"? I have not seen that at all. Most of the young couples I know are married (a few are cohabitating),.
I also do not see that any generation wants "everyone to hate men".
Your perception is quite skewed and narrow.

Most ridiculous thing of the day. Hateful and unrealistic. And you seem to be a woman!

Wasted enough time on this woeful comment Ms. Who or Why.

Seems a bit exceptional right?
What?

If you spent much of the 1960s and 1970s letting bad boys pass you around for booze and drugs then when you got too old and they kicked you to the curb you might decide to take it out by raging on all men. Especially once you soon realized no decent man would have you.

Yep. Different people had different life experiences, some through different life choices.

But none of this is the fault of the men, and it sure doesn't suggest that good men are exceptional.

Many women are not happy with males, right? You have stated the reasons you think are causing this. Maybe it is real OR you have a bias view because your man satisfies you. Seems a bit exceptional right? Or your just lucky to have run into this fella?
Not exceptional and certainly not luck. This 'fella' is far from perfect (as am I). He broke our vows and hurt me deeply. I had every reason to leave him many years ago, but my faith led me to "stay & pray" as I like to call it. :) We didn't throw our marriage away or give up on one another. We worked through and for it; like folks used to do. :)

Lots of misogyny in this post.

Maybe you need to get out more. Most young people I know are happily married or in long-term committed relationships. They and their partners are mutually respectful and supportive.

I've been with my husband nearly 47 years. Neither of us wanted or needed someone to take a "head of household" role. In some areas I took the lead, in others he did. It was based on who was stronger in that specific matter - we respected each other's abilities and judgment.

Never would I, my daughter, DILs, sisters, friends, or anyone in my life, defer to a man simply because he was born male. Nor would my husband, sons, or others in my life expect or want that.

p.s. Neither of us ever broke our vows.

With respect, ma'am, it isn't a "want" or a "need" with me. It's God says. I am glad you have had a good marriage. :)

Men wrote that it's what God says.

I believe She made men and women equals.
I believe it was God inspired scripture, the good Lord who created all creation is certainly capable of making sure man get His words down correctly.

As to the second.... the Bible clearly says God is a He (unless you read the queen james or something), and we are indeed made equals. We just have different purposes.

@Gardenlover, apologies for allowing myself to be caught up in a conversation that has nothing to do with your OP and is more about grilling the new kid.
You think you're being grilled because you're a newbie here?
I regret to inform you that your posts are being grilled based on their content. SF has no hazing tradition.
