I bought anything that I anticipated needing within the next four years and I’m doing as much consulting work as I can and banking as much additional money as possible.Disney is just the latest in a growing number of companies that have announced layoffs this year.
It feels like the economy is shifting gears. It could be for many reasons including tariffs, AI, changes in consumer spending, etc…
I don’t need to understand it in order for me to do a bit of personal financial restructuring of my own. Pay off debt, hoard cash, and basically get ready for whatever comes next.
