Horrible vicious slander thread

The town, the world, resembles a conveyor belt, with the youngsters dropped on one end, while the elderly fall off the other, down into the whirling blades. Who among us has never tried to dodge the undertaker? Who among us has not made pacts with shadowy powers? It never works.

Yet Seadoug remains, smiling at us all from under the hat he made from Johnny Rotten's face.

While I get what these two are up to, just remember, they are identical twins. There have been many studies made about such twins and they have a language all their own. It is almost as though they have a special code and no one else is permitted to encrypt it.

It is a serious subject, so I'll drop further discussion on it. If they know Seadoug that well and he them, then no harm is done at all. You just have to be aware that when such topics from them arise, it begins with twinsie talk. Take it with a grain of salt just a seadoug did.

Seadoug knows from a long standing here that we are his friends and always have his back.

My cousin has identical twin sons, one an emergency department doctor the other a judge. At a family dinner after my mother's death, the judge stole a prawn/shrimp of the doctor's plate. The doctor threatened violence in response, I thought I was going to have to manage an incident, their mother thought it was funny...

Not being in on the joke makes me feel a bit stupid. If we were face to face, I would ask for an explanation and then enjoy a laugh, perhaps. I just accepted that there was something here that I don't understand. It's like listening to an armchair philosopher -- huh???

But it does look like they are having fun. Good on them!
 
I have no idea if "Seadog" is a crazed serial killer or a decent guy, but "Luce" is not president of the Seadog Fan Club. I did think it was odd that Luce said that Hamish Howl would speak. And like magic, moments later, Hamish Howl joined Senior Forums. 😉 OMG!! What are the chance that could happen??? :unsure:

None of this would have happened if seadoug wasn't here. Don't take me seriously though, because I have no idea what just happened. It sounds like someone is defending seadough when no one was attacking him, and now the defenders are being attacked... or something.
 
I am guessing it is a game they play, attacking someone in a humorous way. It is hard to follow with the joking as I do not know what the joke is about with the person concerned?

Seems like this was just a joke that fell flat because rest of us weren't in on the backstory.

Case of not knowing your audience or reading the room.

That's all - let's not crucify them over it.
 
We are presuming that this is really a case of identical twins, or if someone has a lot of knowledge regarding what such twins are all about. A person could decide to have some fun role playing and having a good laugh at our expense.

Now, Seadoug said he knew them from another forum, so this may be fact or some individual who has singled him out and is stringing all this into other areas. If so, shame on him/her. Just read what they/he has to say about how they live all together, etc. It is too pat for my taste.

I know some identical twins. One set, really is quite unseparable. They married brothers (not twins), moved into homes next door to one another and literally go everywhere together. The one twin's son married a girl from Australia and promptly moved there. He could not wait to get away from that situation.

Identical twins are nature's clone, and it is tough dealing with it. I dated a fellow whose sisters were identical twins. I remember how it drove us all wild when they were together in the same room with us, just knowing they were communicating in their own code. One married a good friend of mine and the other married his buddy. As time went on, they could do their thing individually, however.

So, if this continues here, let's see how it all plays out. I just hope Seadoug isn't deliberately being made a fool of. He's too nice of a guy for this.
