What exercise have you done today?

The rechargeable batteries on my stationary recumbent bike failed, so I lost track of my progress if I stopped peddling, so I kept track in my head and I figure I went about a bizillion miles today, give or take a few miles.

Wait, were you on your bike today or just bringing some levity to the thread? I need more information before I can choose the correspondent reaction. 🥰

The usual....30 squats and 70 kitchen counter pushups this morning and assorted Tai-Chi like stretches and twists.
So far I've walked 9520 steps today. Later this evening I'll do the usual 1/2 hour on my stationary bike.
by bedtime I'll probably walk 12,000+ steps, indoors I'm afraid......the temperature outside is 25* F.

Today is a rest and recovery day after yesterday's chainsawing a log into eighteen 16 inch chunks and then carrying them, one at a time, the 100
yards across a rough and trip hazardous ground to my pickup truck. I also carried five limbs the same distance.......they weren't quite as thick as the 12 to 15 inch wide chunks of the downed tree. It's for firewood and I'm taking advantage of an unseasonable, three day warmup of temperatures. FWIW, I walked 17,681 steps yesterday. Carrying weights for a lot of those steps. And exercising my balance capacities at the same time too.
I'm a bit stiff today but not sore anywhere. Not bad for 72. Still physically functional but doing it with some care.

Standing up straight can be used as a tool for developing better self-esteem and deeper self-love. It occurs to me that my physical exercises, which have strengthened my back and increased my core strength quite a bit, now causing me to stand up the way up, like a T, are in that way contributing to my sense of inner wellbeing.

It seems a simple thing, but really it's a bonus I hadn't realized until now.

I tried to do a pull up about 10 years ago. Not even close. Haven't tried since. I did 9 in High School. But that was 60 years ago.

We don't typically use those muscles in average adult life. I have strong muscles elsewhere but those pull-up muscles are currently asleep.
