I suspect that I do but imagine their are people that don't, so how about you?
Me too SeaBreeze.I normally have an opinion on many things, but don't always voice it unless asked. If it's something I know nothing about, I can't give any opinion.
I often have an opinion. But I also know when to shut up and not express it unless I know I can speak it well.
You promise now?kay:
Sometimes its nope.Do You Have A Opinion On Everything?
Nope.
it depends on the question. I find I usually know a little about many subjects. For example: If the subject was football injuries, since I have a medical background, I could likely comment because for me the subject is injuries. Just because they are football injuries isn't necessarily that important. But, you are right, I likely would not participate in a discussion if I did not know anything about the subject. It would make no sense to have an opinion about subjects that you know nothing about. For instance, if anybody asked me anything about a football team, they'd get a blank look.
That brings up an interesting side to discussions were I might not have more than passing familiarity with a subject. One day I took on someone who whas clearly bullying another person. I am not someone who is easily bullied. In any case, it became obvious to me that the rhetoric of the bully was child like. So I challenged his age and he stopped trying to bully, and no longer responded to my comments. I still try to be open and admit my mistakes when called out.I'm opinionated BECAUSE I know a lot about SOME subjects, and can't stand to read what some people write on subjects of which they have minimal knowledge.
Conversely, there are some of you who write at length about subects which I know you are really familiar with, and I will stay away from such discussions because
of my limited knowledge, being unable to contrubute to the discussion.
There...am I a nice guy now?
