My husband and I moved to a new house almost a year ago. Not only am I having trouble adjusting to the new place I still keep looking for the staircase, while this house has only one floor. A few minutes ago my husband asked for something from the bedroom and I told him I'd run upstairs to get it for him. He started laughing and then I remembered we don't have an upstairs. I can't wait until he forgets something and believe me I won't have to wait long.
 
I was making coffee and Taco (my dog) was wanting to go outside.

I have a bunn....so I pour my water in the coffee pot with a plastic container.

I poured the water in,went to let Taco out,came back and had forgotten to put the pot underneath.

I had coffee all over the place.....:crying:
Other than my mother I haven't told anyone about this.......​

Senior moment #1,749

Prepping a pot roast. Remembered I needed to transfer the laundry to the dryer. While there realized I hadn’t given the dog his treats for joint pain. Did that. Then transferred the laundry. Then went back to the kitchen where I’d been about to drop some minced garlic into the pot roast. Couldn’t find the garlic anywhere.

.......aaaaand it was in the laundry room where I’d put it down in order to transfer the laundry to the dryer! 🤷‍🤦🏼‍♀
