Well, I didn't want to throw them off a bridge, so I asked a friend of my late husband that was also a trap shooter to look up the value of each gun in his book so I had an idea of value before I went to the "shark". I knew they were going to try to take advantage of me (just like at the car...
When I got home, I got hubby's wheelbarrow and slid the bags from the trunk to the wheelbarrow. At least I didn't have to worry about how I was going to get them out of the car...haha :)
Went to Lowes and got 2 bags of black mulch on sale. Then I went to Aldi to get a few groceries. Had to have help at Lowes to get the mulch in my car. Those things are heavy!
I've worked with computers from way back in the day when it was punch cards. I'm glad I've kept up with tech but I'm no expert by any means but I can do a lot of research and when hubby died I did most of the notifications, etc. on the computer.

Case in point....my late husband's 3 grown kids disrespected him by talking down to him. They never took any advice because they...
I agree that it seems like it's getting more difficult to find a good read. It seems like anyone and everyone is getting a book published these days...and they're not all "good reads". I also find a lot of mistakes, like punctuation and misspelling. Doesn't anyone proofread any more??
I don't follow the crowd...about anything, and that includes book "recommendations" from best seller lists or Oprah. I'm an avid reader. Always have been but I only like certain genre's. I belonged to a book club a few years ago and had no interest in the books that were chosen so I dropped out...
Love Youtube! I subscribe to several quilting channels and whenever my late hubby needed info on anything, that's the first place we'd look. Hope they don't start charging for it.
