I didn't realize how many people were protesting. I wonder if this will speed up an end to the bombing?

@CallMeKateI suppose there were "Pro-Hitler Pro-Nazi" protests in the 30s and 40s, too. I for one am very glad that the Allies didn't have wimps running things who would back down because of bleeding heart "protests." Where would we be?![]()
Doesn't matter how many or how big, Israel is not going to stop until Hamas is wiped out in Gaza. And I bet a bazillion nuthins that, afterward, Israel will provide aid to the Gazan Palestinians until they have new leadership or can take care of themselves.I didn't realize how many people were protesting. I really hope that is the case.Doesn't matter how many or how big, Israel is not going to stop until Hamas is wiped out in Gaza. And I bet a bazillion nuthins that, afterward, Israel will provide aid to the Gazan Palestinians until they have new leadership or can take care of themselves.
I think the pro-Palestinian protests are against the bombing of innocent civilians. ?
They are mostly about the false assertion that Israel is an occupier and colonizer and oppressor of Palestine.Wasn't those pro Nazi protests gatherings that supported anti-Semitism and white supremacy? I think the pro-Palestinian protests are against the bombing of innocent civilians. ?
Like Dresden? Hiroshima? Nagasaki? London Blitz? War is hell. We all know it... but come on! "Sorry, we'll leave the playground now so nobody gets hurt?" That's not the real world.Wasn't those pro Nazi protests gatherings that supported anti-Semitism and white supremacy? I think the pro-Palestinian protests are against the bombing of innocent civilians. ?
This is 100% the fault of mainstream media (imo). And I'm sure they think it's a beautiful stroke of luck this is happening just before a presidential campaign and election.I didn't realize how many people were protesting. I wonder if this will speed up an end to the bombing?
That wouldn't be taking place if Hamas didn't start this by attacking innocent Israelis. Not having another option I Googled military bases for Israel & Hamas.I think the pro-Palestinian protests are against the bombing of innocent civilians. ?
And that makes one wonder if they are under threat of torture or death. There's no question Hamas makes sure hatred of Israel and Jews is taught to tots and school children, and it's taught so well that these children will turn against their own parents if they express any sympathy or kindness toward Israel or Jews. The "peaceful" Palestinians could have helped by denouncing Hamas & isolating them as much as possible. But that didn't happen & isn't happening.
True. I wonder how many of the protesters realize that unless they are Muslim, they are considered infidels and on the hit list after the entire Jewish population? Many are holding signs and/or chanting "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." Those that have actually looked at a map referencing what they're saying want Israel destroyed. Some of the fools chanting have no clue and are feeding off mob energy but plenty do know exactly what it means.
Well now that's chilling. Your post made me remember that the Hitler Youth were taught to (and did) turn in relatives, even parents, if they were hiding Jews. History really *does* repeat itself and through all of it, the "give peace a chance" chanters are flicking their lighters and "protesting" while swaying and being oblivious to what's about to bite them in the hindquarters. There's no question Hamas makes sure hatred of Israel and Jews is taught to tots and school children, and it's taught so well that these children will turn against their own parents if they express any sympathy or kindness toward Israel or Jews.
I think that's true, but not just for the Middle-East; for the entire world. It is true that there have been terrorist attacks all over the globe. Maybe these kind of Muslims believe they are the chosen people for the middle east. Will it be straightened out after so many Muslims have been killed this time? Won't they seek revenge on this war? That could start a bigger war if that happens.
Haven't we ( mankind) come to a place where we have very deep opposing views on very critical matters, that we have both sides protesting, a huge amount of support for either side ( including the general public ( mass media )), and we are at logger heads about a solution, if there is one even? It seems like we having so many huge issues that we are fighting each other on. Like we all want to fill our days with a serious game of tug-a-war. It barely matters anymore. We turn the smallest things into a protest. It so ironic that we all want to live peacefully, and yet the battle lines can be seen now. "Must be the season of the Witch".. oh that was last month.
It might be our very brain is rewiring itself in an image of the mass media we are receiving. So EVERYTHING and ANYTHING can become divisive.
In all the protests you have people on each side hatin' on each other somehow. The issues are starting to get to us somehow. They are hitting alot of nerves. This amount of nerve wracking fighting can wear anybody down, especially us old and feeble seniors.
I don't know if our hate and angry outbursts do anything other than move a bunch of hot air.
We might have the "virus" again to fight over.![]()
I wondered who was indoctrinating all those people who popped up suddenly to protest for Palestinians. Then I read the following article. Hamas has probably moved into our education system for some years..I didn't realize how many people were protesting. I wonder if this will speed up an end to the bombing?
America has spent billions fighting only one religion since 9/11/2001. If Americans could realize that, a discussion might could get started about what to do about that religion.Religious Fanaticism has probably caused more deaths and damage to society than any disease, throughout human history, IMO, such fanaticism is a mental illness.
