2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Does your building have any back-up power, for if/when the power goes out, Marie?
Mine doesn't, but the power outages are rare, for this particular building.
They do happen, though. A handful of years ago, I think they did install a back-up generator, for one community room, which I don't know if it's working, and I myself, cannot use that room.
There are generators that power the hallway lights. I forget if elevators are powered...but I think no. But in the almost 3 years I have lived here, we have just had one outage though

We are still in February and it already feels like Spring. We reached 85 degrees today. We have one upcoming 55 degree day before March but most days will be in the 60's or 70's. That doesn't bode well for how our Summer might be, but I'll take it while it lasts.

2C here, snow on the way, maybe with ice pellets. That may mean we're not going out today after all.
Same forecast for tomorrow.
❄️❄️❄️
And, that might mean we are getting that same snow and ice pellets, here, tomorrow. :giggle:

But today, it is a bit chilly, but clear and sunny, here,

with wonderful blue sky, and whisps of feathery clouds.
Very pleasant to look out at, but the wintery storm is heading our way.🌬️❄️❄️⛄

Exceptionally cold jetstream flow not seen in years, now passing through California that will be followed later this week by snows in lower elevation places rarely seen. Many 50+ mph gusts yesterday in local SFBA downing trees. High breezy today just in mid 40Fs or 20F below normals. Southern California and Southwest deserts will be more stormy making national news by this weekend. As a snow skier, I'll easily get outdoors to urban walk locally today wearing much warm clothing.
