2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Cold and snowy this morning. About 20F with light snow. Had heavier yesterday, I spent almost 2 hours shoveling and plowing and didn't get it all. Probably have to get back to it today.

The sliver lining to this is that we have a really good snowpack in the mountains, it will help ease the drought a bit. Can always use more.

@Kaila AFAIK, that's the only blizzard. There have been plenty of ice storms and heavy sNOws, just not blizzards.

This morning it's 69 in the city; 66 up here. It's nice right now with high clouds. Expecting rain by early afternoon, but probably going to break another temp record today.

Another 8" with drifting. Spent about an hour and a half clearing a path for my daughter to get out and then clearing out more snow that fell, using my new snow scoop. It works great but it is quite a workout! But at least it is less hard on the back then shoveling. Hopefully, the town will plow our driveway tomorrow and give us room to turn around.

We have the same scoop! We love it. I don't lift snow anymore. I generally use a walker when I'm outside so pushing the scoop works for me. Hubs got a slightly used snow blower last fall. We got 10 inches of wet heavy snow over 3 days. Its done now and was 0 degrees this morning.

Very windy, low 30's to be in the 20's tonight.

Getting into my car today, the wind almost blew the door shut on my arm. When I got it opened, the wind just blew me into the driver's seat, LOL!

I understand that !!! .... the wind is so crazy everywhere. Down here it's a hot wind.. temps are in the 80's.

Two evenings ago, I tried to open my patio door to the outside ..(facing a South wind) ... I put all my weight against the door, and still it wouldn't budge.
I had to wait about 5 minutes for the pressure to let up.
Never had that happen before!

Meanwhile, up at the cabin, 3 feet and counting

I'm really liking down here in town

I keep hearing this:

At my former house, when I cleared snow from my driveway, it just gave the neighbors a place to push theirs into.
