....much rain here, temperature is rising, forecast calls for high 90's next week...my outside time will soon slow down.

It's very hazy here today. Daughter says it is smokey downtown. We're being affected by the terrible Alberta
wildfires that have been ongoing. The smoke takes a very circuitous route.

Just got over about 45 minutes of much needed rain. A heavy storm rolled through with thunder, lightning and hail. It got so dark, my pole light turned on. Temperature fell almost 15 degrees F.
7/10 inch (1.8 cm) of water in my rain gauge. Photos of the hail.

Something like 95-97 yesterday. Some rain this morning. High lower 80's for the next week. Strange but I'll take the, relatively, cooler weather.

I've been smelling smoke from the Canadian wildfires yesterday and again today. I hope our Canadian friends are safe.

Sunny and warm after a day of storms. A few hours after the one with hail, there was another. Lots of lightning and thunder, some rain (0.2 in), but no hail.

In Texas panhandle, this morning it was raining at 6:30 am. But, for the day, it will be a beautiful day free of anymore rain.

I won't complain about our hot weather (90's) because we have fairly blue skies ... do get air quality alerts on the phone everyday, but it has nothing to do with what is going on up North.
