Definitely chillin' down in my area. Currently (5:30 a.m.) it's 46 degrees. Dreading the time I'll have to turn the furnace on... every time that oil truck chugs up the hill, it costs between $800 and $900 and he comes at least four times a year. Ugh!

In the 90s this week with overnight lows in the 60s. Powerful fans bring cool overnight air into the house. When it gets warm around 9 AM, I'll shut the fans and close everything up until around 9 PM when cool evening air returns.

When we were in Scotland, I remember crossing up into Orkney. It felt like that, though I doubt it was quite that extreme.

Steady rain all day so far. I was surprised how mild it was when I went out on the porch. Going to turn much cooler on Sunday, then a gradual warm-up in the middle of the coming week. Forecast said we may get near 70F on Wednesday.

I'm. a Scot but have never been that far North... Orkney etc.( have looked at Videos).. are places I've always promised myself to visit.. but I just feel after looking at videos that it might be too much of a Travel PITA to get to somewhere that doesn't look all that special
