Still very warm and muggy. Predicted rain hasn't shown up yet - now the forecast say later in the PM. Everyone's lawn that doesn't have a watering system is looking parched.

Southern Tier NY- after some 80 degree days we have had rain for two days and they expect the next week to also bring rain.
It was in low 50s when I woke up and now is barely at 60 degrees.

But allergens are down, due to rain.

It's ho and I think it feels hotter than the temperatures are saying. I was telling my BFF who lives in Florida. She said perhaps it's due to the humidity. That's what I was thinking. Weekend temps will be a little cooler: today 80 with real feel of 82. Tomorrow 78 actual and real feel. Thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow.

After a series of thunderstorms yesterday, there's almost an autumnal feeling in the air. What a change from the very warm and humid days we've had here during the week. It's 15 degrees F cooler that it was at this time yesterday. This was the first storm approaching:
