2024 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Just went out, expected heavy condensation. Didn't realize that it had heavily frozen later last night too until suction cups refused to stick to the roof of the car.

Sounds weird, but it's the solar panel of a car battery trickle charger. This car doesn't get heavily used these days and the electronics draw power all of the time.

Back to September-like weather. Was in the 70’s yesterday. Weird. I was liking the colder weather we had over the weekend for sleeping.

Strange. The low was close to freezing a couple of days ago. Next week it's supposed to feel like the mid 80s. Today's high is forecast to be 72. We have not had rain in the last few days and no is forecast for next week (so far).

Pretty much the same here in CT, @OneEyedDiva , and high risk of fires. This morning when I opened the door at 8am, the smell of smoke just hit me.... I was afraid of a fire very near, but cannot find a darn thing about it online or on TV.

I hope the fire stays far from you Rose! Yesterday there was an alert in my Accuweather app warning of the potential for fires due to dryness. It was not for my immediate area though and I don't see it today.

We're into an increasing drought here, in the middle of the country. It's been about a month since we had any measurable rain, and there are few chances for moisture on any of the long range forecasts.

It is currently 64F here in Phoenix !!!! We had a nice rain this morning and Northern Arizona got some much needed snow. It's going to warm up later this week but it's nice that Fall has finally arrived. People are a lot less grouchy now that the heat is gone

We'll take that temp! If you can send it out here, would be willing to make an exchange. Recent high daily temps have been 10-12C. Moisture in the air makes it penetrate... less inviting to work outside. (Supposed to be a little warmer today, though.)

An extended stretch of unseasonably warm, sunny weather - it got to 77F (25C) today which is unusually warm for the end of October in the northeast U.S.. The temps will fall, though, by the end of the week, but still no rain in sight.
