Putting my hat on, my wife said, "watch out for the high winds." "Well it won't be causing any collisions," I replied. Many years ago, when we were living in London, my wife was out in a dress with a flared hem line. A gust of wind caught it and she showed off her frillies. A crashing noise had her turn her head to see that a motorist, more interested in my lady's stockings than on the road, had run into the car in front. I bet his insurance claim form made for interesting reading.

Not really very cold (temp is hovering right around freezing) but it's the type of cold my mom would say "gets inside you." Off and on snow showers, but not accumulating (at this point).

When we were out earlier, it was snowing .. it has stopped for now, but we may have rain later. It isn't too cold, so, it wasn't slippery. The sanders/salters were out. The city is pretty good at keeping the roads safe.

Still storming..it han't let up for 48 hours. torrential rain, 90 mph winds in places ..structural dmage everywhere, deaths..

I can't even see out of my windows properly bcause the rain is so heavy ...

Another 2 inches overnight. This is the third time in 2 weeks I've had to shovel. Around 11am, the sun came out for about half an hour, but it has since clouded over again. Seasonable temp.
