A Nice Walk ( with photos )

This area has a huge rock n roll festival stating soon and they jack up rents for around 2 weeks prior to and after the
3 day festivities …..that will a real,photo time ….lots of 1960’s cars like Elvis Presley had ….people dressed in Rock n roll skirts / men in fancy shirts …..we will come have a look …

WOW! This really is a long trip you’re on. Then again, if it was so hot & dry where you are, maybe this is perfect for you.
$500 dollars a night is a lot. Good thing you have backup plans. That sounds like quite the festival. Thanks for the link.

We are doing both smiley. We are walking during the day and dancing at night. I’m doing rain dancing as an offering to the rain Gods for Kadee and Kadee and her husband are doing proper ballroom dancing.

I'm curious what that is in the first photo, some kind of fruit? Something I don't know if so.
 
Happy Mothers Day to ALL mothers. I hope you had a fabulous day. Today I woke up to 3 Mother’s Day cards. One from my husband and one from each of the dogs. ♥️ My husband is such a sweetheart, he always goes out of his way to get cards, especially on special occasions, like today.
Today we walked near the causeway. As soon as we got there we saw a tugboat heading towards the causeway. Here’s a picture of it. For a tugboat it was going at quite the clip.

Here’s the pathway going alongside the ocean.

We saw 4 people along this path. One older lady walking by herself, who said it was a bit chilly. She was right too. The breeze off the ocean WAS quite cool today.
Then we saw a younger woman putting her dog on its leash the closer we got to it. Then we saw a young couple just starting the trail when we were finishing our walk.

You can go off topic all you like. Topics are meant to wander. My husband buys me lunch . I had a turkey and cheese submarine and a Dairy Queen blizzard. Dairy Queen is an ice cream dessert place. A blizzard is ice cream with either cake, brownies, cookies or candies added. I had a strawberry cheesecake blizzard. It’s vanilla soft serve ice cream with strawberries and chunks of cheesecake. Yummmmm! They are very good.

Yep ,we are very lucky to have good thoughtful hubbies ……..Ive had to say to him .why not drop the cards ?he‘s given me birthday , Mother’s Day , wedding anniversary , Christmas cards for 39 years and I’ve got a big box full of cards
but he says nah …I’m buying you a card
 
Hee hee I’ve got to wear a hat cause I’ve suffered with skin cancers ( my father had red hair so I’ve got sensitive skin)
I should have taken my back pack off to stand up straight …:)..never mind we are still here for a further 4 weeks before going home to dry South Australia

I’ve often suggested my husband drops the card giving but there’s no way . He enjoys picking out cards for me.

My moms got reddish hair and fair skin, my dads got dark olive, brown skin that tans very well. I have a mixture of the top of them, mainly my dad’s skin type.
