Too often, people are repeating 'ideas' that they heard from someone who has an agenda or who knows as little as they do but for the sake of seeming knowledgeable and important, they state it with confidence. And the next person accepts it as gospel and passes it on or makes life changing decisions based on someone's theory or agenda or pretence of knowledge. I make an effort to never speak on things I don't know about for sure. And if I feel strongly about something,I do a little research before I speak. Words are important because of people's potential responses.
I watched the video you provided and don’t feel that he proved anything. He proposed that pictures somehow painted a contradicting picture, he dabbled in the usual conspiracy theories about how deaths were counted, touched on Sweden’s death count, blabbered on about cranberry pickers, etc. and dove head first into the same inane story about ‘stopping the testing so we don’t find so many covid cases’, that Trump tried.
Nightmarishly silly argument because you can stop the testing entirely, but you’ll still have the same numbers of people who are sick from the disease. You just don’t know about some of them and so everybody can spread the disease even more freely because a lot of them will feel fine but are carriers. And now grandma and all her bridge partners have it and their family and…..
While I watched it, I stopped periodically and looked stuff up and here are the notes I made. Maybe you want to take a look or check out the link included, or not. Doesn’t matter to me. It only confirms that in the world over 7 million people died, many of whom didn’t need to except they listened to people who dreamed up conspiracies to frighten one another.

When covid first appeared, it was a new virus, hence the moniker, novel corona virus. That subsequently became known as Covid 19. In a situation of a NEW virus, it’s a guess as to how it will act, symptoms, outcomes, speed of spread, etc. I think governments around the world figured it would be better to be safe than sorry then to have to face voters after doing nothing, so they unloaded the arsenal at it.
That resulted in the lockdown and eventually mask mandates when they figured out how it spread, i.e. droplets from our mouths and noses, droplets that travelled through the air. In the beginning they weren't sure so there was initially some confusion over masking but eventually as a result of research and experience, they pretty much universally, settled on a requirement for masking to keep one another safe.
The other reason there was such a push for distancing and masking and eventually the vaccine, was an effort to ‘
flatten the curve’. Early on news programming showed Chinese and Italian hospitals so over run with sick and dying people, that they were having to set them up in hallways, on floors and even in car parks for lack beds in hospital rooms.
I think governments around the world were trying to keep their hospitals from turning into similar places of chaos, fearing the backlash if thousands of sick family members were to spend their last days laying on a floor in a hallway in Alberta, Canada or Toronto, or Washington or Berlin or London……Flattening the curve was also seen as a measure to protect health care workers who were on the front lines and we needed them to take care of the millions of people who got sick, many of whom ultimately died.
The lack of knowledge also meant the medical establishment didn’t have a clear picture yet as to who specifically was at risk so it was a considered decision to shut things down and ‘protect everyone’. Hindsight is wonderful but it isn’t prescient.

So they altered that policy, recognizing that it was ridiculous to say car accident deaths were covid deaths. But that doesn’t change the fact that ‘…

It also doesn’t negate the fact that an elderly person or an obese or diabetic person could be very ill to begin with, and then they contract the virus and it pushes them over the edge. It could have been that with just the pre-existing condition, they might have survived, but they just couldn’t deal with the final blow of covid as well. Thus, a covid death (even though the person was already sick from diabetes or Alzheimers). That’s a question that is weighed and calculated by the attending physicians who treated the person. They look at underlying conditions, whether covid came first or ‘the disease’ came first or whether covid caused the pneumonia that lead to death.
But if a person near death from Alzheimers, contracted covid, the cause of death would be listed as Alzheimers with the covid infection listed as a contributing condition.

When a person is admitted to hospital and are tested and prove positive for covid and then they die, the death is listed as a covid death. If they are admitted because of a heart attack and die, unless a post mortem test for the disease is done, their death is listed as a heart attack. If a person is injured in a car accident and admitted to hospital where they die from injuries sustained, their death is listed as a car accident. Even if that person had covid, the car accident is what killed him.
Covid 19 and the lockdowns were with us for two years (give or take a few months). In the USA there were 849,000 covid deaths and in that same time frame, there were 8800 flu deaths.

Those massively high numbers in spite of a global lockdown and mask mandates and for a time, an available vaccine. How much higher would the death toll have been if the government never tried to protect anyone? While we’ll never know for sure, I’m going to assume it would have been much, much higher.
And people will often point to Sweden as the outlier. They didn’t shut down and their death rates weren’t as alarming…..but I would suggest that as a member of the Scandinavian countries who all practise some high levels of socialism (high taxes to pay out for the benefit of all) and being in the top four countries who are 'happy' about even that state of their personal economies, they were more likely to practise some level of care and concern for one another in an effort to keep each other ‘safer’. Their societal philosophy recognizes the need for support of others for the benefit of all.
In the province I’m in, there was a general attitude of ‘screw you, we’re having a rodeo followed by a barbecue and no one is allowed to wear a mask there’. And we all heard about motorcycle and political rallies and Canada’s trucker convoy so we know that Canada and the USA could be considered as somewhat lacking in that same level of care and concern. So in my opinion, Sweden is an exception to the rule that came about because people there are probably more sympathetic to one another and so practised better 'protections' even without mandates.
So the first think I take offense at is that fact you say people can carry a virus and not know it. Yep, its called health! If I am not ill, still going about my normal day, heading to the gym, take our dog to the park, etc, I am not sick. I am not asymptomatic-such a dumb word omg-If that is the case, that you can catch something from someone who doesn't know it, we'd all be dead. All kinds of diseases can pass in bodily fluids. We would have no hope.
If I have it and I don't know, that means my body sensed an invader, sent my immune system to render it harmless. If I don't feel 'symptoms', my body has inactivated it. So that would mean I am not passing you anything 'dangerous'. If I am passing you anything, its a dead virus.
7 million died out of 8 billion. Do the math. What is that? 0.000875. Not to be cold but so what. A drop in the bucket. Every country pretty much is the same with who was affected. In Canada the avg age was 79 if I remember correctly, and 82 in US? now before anyone attacks me, I am not saying these people are less important (I have a mother and mother in law in that age), but biology has proven that usually these age groups have multiple comorbidities, most have life altering or threatening diseases, or are just unfortunately weakened. So sadly they take the brunt of anything.
So we broke the worlds economy, eliminated jobs, businesses, destroyed children, ruined families friends, ruined travel, and did all kinds of damage to our future over 0.000875? Was it worth it? Heck no. Absolutely ridiculous.
Do you know why hospitals were overwhelmed? Which is funny because they were not overwhelmed in Germany, Poland and Czech. We lived in 1, family in another and friends in another. Did you not see film your hospital videos. It was all the rage here in Eu. They were not busy at all, in fact slower than normal. So I am not sure where you got your info from. As for Canada I call malarky on those as well. If they were so busy...how did they have time to make all those dance videos? There were literally thousands of dance videos on youtube, tik tok, and all social media.
So doctors and nurses so overwhelmed that they had time to practice and coordinate dance moves hey? Lol! Also our daughter lives in Vancouver, and its funny how a dozen medical professionals had time to come out of the hospital to be serenaded by the police or people driving by in cars honking to thank your front line workers.
That in itself enraged me for personal reasons. I put my actual life on the line in 5 tours of duty in some of the worst places. Experiencing the loss of friends from (no Canucks) other nations in missions to protect the free world. Bullets whizzing by, people trying to kill me, on my last tour I was injured permanently. When we all got home where was our 'thanks for being an actual front line worker'? Ha, nothing. We serve from the thought we do it for our families and country, but the whole thank you for your service garbage is so meaningless, most of us hate hearing it.
Masks...really? First Fraudci admitted in the US congressional hearing they do not work. In the forces we take NBC training, and from day 1 to the end of your career we are always told if attacked with biological or chemical weapons and you dont have your mask (military gas mask with filters) on, you are dead. No other mask or cloth is going to protect you.
Not only that, a so called 'virus' particles are smaller than smoking, car exhaust, drywall dust etc. Many videos proved smoking particles and car exhaust go right through. Drywallers use a special mask with filters. But you think you little piece of cloth is going to stop anything. If it was airborne and so tiny how do you stop it? Post a link to a Medical book to show masks prevent infection from infectious disease? OSA in Canada even came forward at one time and mentioned they do not work for the purposes the govt said.
Same as 6 feet. Such a joke. Look up how far a sneeze travels? Actually look up how far using certain words expel your breath out. Look up temperature affecting sneeze and breath distance of travel. It was all ridiculous.
So we were in Poland during this time. 1 lockdown-the original Apr -May. Then that was it. No more lockdowns. The people forbid it. Our gym was open the entire time. Never shut, not one day. No masks. No one disappeared from the gym. No one was out for a week cause they were sick. In fact, there were a few people there blowing their nose, but still there. The gym owner didn't care. He was in the belief that exercise heals you so you should be there. We were there 6 days a week the whole time. Friends who were employed at banks and at govt institution, never required to get vaccinated (never a vax pass) or wear a mask to go to work.
Both were recommended, but the govt knew it was illegal to force you. We went to the mall which only closed the first time, went to the store, parks, played frisbee in the park, walked our dogs, met for coffee regularly and so on. We travelled to other cities in Poland and lived a 99 percent normal life during this so called pandemic. The 1 percent was the annoyance of people telling you to wear a mask!
As for Sweden being the outlier, far from it. First off almost 90 percent of Africa didn't get any vaccines, and most nations had no masks. They were reserved for medical professionals. Why isn't all of Africa gone today? They have almost or maybe a billion people, where was the massive deaths there?
Sweden, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Kosovo and a few more didn't go along with the 'rules' of covid. We never had any mass die offs in any of these countries. If you look up Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia, you will see the lowest vax rates in the world. We were in Croatia in Dec-Mar of this year, and spent a lot of time with our friend and his family.
The vax rate was so low the govt had to issue an investigation, because more than 37 doctors found giving fake vax certificates, and the govt didn't know how many tens of thousands are really vaxxed or not. But he also said most businesses didn't shut down, people could wear masks, but no one was arrested or fired. That kind of garbage and violation of human rights was in Can and US.
I am personally so tired of this garbage. There was no massive die off anymore than normal. In Canada you read many articles of patients stacked in hallways, or 2 to 3 or even 4 to a room. IN 2016 my mother in Mb, said it was so bad they put people in unused storage and surgical rooms because they were overwhelmed. Hallway medicine has been a thing in Canada for years. Nothing new there.
People post and preach all of this stuff over and over and over that there was a pandemic. Maybe an epidemic, maybe. But when 0.000845 percent die of whatever it was, its not a worry. The problem is the placebo affect has proven that you can trick your mind or be tricked into thinking you are taking medicine that helps you, and you actually get better. So why can it not work the other way! Too many people were 'told' they were ill, dangerous, and there was a massive pandemic, but were they?
Was there? I mean world wide govts are spending the next 10 years in court for lies about covid and various issues with covid, but we still believe it as it was? Many court cases in Canada where when asked to prove the 'science' the govt dropped the case. Not to mention prove that c-19 exists, they couldn't. A lot of losses for the govt of Can and many provinces ongoing. It was all lies to control and fool you.
Was there a cold and flu? Maybe. But if you look at science it is well know that when you body gets toxic, the body and its mechanisms detoxes, and the resulting effects is 'sickness or illness'. In fact many treatments you get worse before getting better because of this fact. The human immune system is one of the greatest things there is. It can protect us from everything on this planet...if we take care of it. But the problem is most do not, and they pay the price.
As I have mentioned before, spending time overseas, behind the scenes in combat zones knowing how govts and command lies or exaggerates, how govt manipulate the truth, how anyone can believe the tv or govt press conferences is completely shocking to me. The fact that people don't question anything anymore is a sign of the downfall of humanity. We are born to question things. That's what children do. That's what we all should be doing. But alas, we don't. Maybe its the Philo degree or that the curtain has been pulled away for me, but....
One last thing, so tired of people saying people who question are anti vax or anti this or that. No, we are or rather I am anti lies, anti govt corruption. For Canadians...Trudeau has shares in the company that makes vaccines in Canada. No conflict there! Lol. keep believing.
